- robdawg21this is the area code and code for my area of sylvania near toledo but i called and couldnt figure who it is
- shelly| 2 repliesI had this number call me at 4:40 pm today. As soon as I answered it, they hung up. I called right back, thinking it might be someone important. It gave me a recording, stating their business hours...which said they closed at 4pm. The recording also said their name, but I couldn't understand it. I called back a few times trying to figure it out...so, needless to say, I still have no idea who called me or why they called.

- LoisLaneReceived a call and they left vms. Could not understand the message from some woman or when I called back so I looked it up this is what I found:

- J. W.| 2 repliesReading the prior messages regarding this being from an insurance agency, it makes sense. I got a call from them today. I also get a lot of calls and emails from insurance companies that saw my resume online and want me to consider selling insurance for them. My degrees are in accounting and finance, but companies take the "shotgun" approach when trying to find sales people. If you got a call from this number, ask yourself if you have a public profile on Monster.com or Careerbuilder or something similar. It may just be a headhunter calling as many professionally minded people as he/she can.
- kb528i received a call from them this morning and its job hunters to employ people i have a interveiw set up for tomorrow but if i walk in there and see a bunch of people waiting for class and dressed nice im out of there it just right around from where i live so hey i will check out the insurance company because after all they gotta sell them selfs as a company to employees and i they dont how do they expect anyone else to. so i will keep yall up to date have a great day.

- StaceyAll day long I've been getting weird calls. 3 were blocked calls.. The first time I answered she said she was with American insurance I told her to call back at 7... Then I had to other weird calls...same number 419 84338
- Caller: American insurance
- Kkmarie18 replies to shelly| 1 replySurace smith office of American income. The HR department leaves by 3 normally. If you got a call then you either replied to a Craigslist posting or have a profile on monster.com or careerbuilder.com that's the only way we get our numbers to offer a job.
- buckeye replies to Kkmarie18Wrong! I have done neither and you are calling me.
- Tisha replies to J. W.I just got a call for this number and it's an insurance company...no idea why they would think I would be interested when my resume clearly shows that my jobs have all been in the medical field AND my Major is Registered Nursing! to make matters worse they murdered my name by clearly killing the English language. At first she tried to make the i in my name sound like the ee sound and then when I told her no one lived here with that name she tried to add an r between the T and the i...why would I want to work for someone that can't even get my name right!
- ShericeGot a message from the same number that was very vague. I assumed it was from somewhere I have no interest in working. Thanks for the information!

- Cynthia D| 1 replyI had one of my veteran clients get a call from this 419-843-3829 # and the person indicated that he was interested in hiring the client. The person who went by the name of "Dan" said that he needed a supervisor for concrete. My client had nothing on his resume that indicated anything remotely similar to that job field. One thing is for sure, this client did not apply to work there. This sounds like a commission scam where they get people from all types of backgrounds to sale life insurance plans.

- Brad FI keep getting calls from this number and they hang up when I answer. Now there are calling my girlfriend's cell saying they are trying to reach me about my 401K. Sold a car on craigslist and now i get hang up calls and scam calls more then 10 times a day. I don't recommend using your cell number on craigslist if your selling something.
- Caller: Surace-Smith Agency
- Felecia replies to J. W.I also got a call from these people, stating they got my resume on monster.com and would like me to interview with them.
For one thing, I haven't used Monster.com in over three years, and for another, just because my resume says that I do billing for medical insurance does NOT mean I want to go sell insurance. Thanks but no thanks! - TxMtbIt was from Surace Smith Group, Insurance selling company.

- DanaGot a call from them 2 years ago, and today. The first time I went in for an "interview", there were 11 other people there. Group interview for a 2 hour session on selling insurance. No cold-calls, but going into unfamiliar areas at night isn't for me. Dan Hartwig led the session. Nice people but...no.

- JoanneGot a call from this phone number. Caller ID says it's from Surace Smith Agency, They were asking for a person by the name of Mitch. No Mitch here. :P

- Rob replies to Cynthia DIt is a scam. These people recruit anyone they can get. It is a numbers game to them. If you look up Dan Hartwig, Jimmy Sherwood, and American Income Life you will see. These two gentleman I have listed recruit people by painting a picture of $4000 a week income or more. Havr fake home pictures on their Facebook. They dress fancy. Drive nice cars that I'm pretty sure are leased but live in average homes in average neighborhoods. If you look at their Facebook pages you see glitz and glam but it is a nothing more than a tool to recruit the unsuspecting to sell. I have a family member who is convinced he will be successful like these gentleman not realizing they are not successful. They are fake and honestly have no other skill than lying to people. I don't know these gentleman other than the little background checking I did. The Internet is a wonderful thing when you have dirt bags like these guys. It is very clear that you should stay clear of these individuals.
- Sara| 1 replyI asked them to stop calling a year or two ago.... They still call.... It's calmest 2017
