It simply has the caller as SSi. They called twice today; sounded like a fax going through. They hung up both times after the beep.

They call a couple times a day, when I answer, just a Beep, and it hangs up, if I don't answer, it rings 3 times, and stops, I quit answering....

It's another pain in the butt survey. Number is in Athens,TN and is a Sprint Cell Phone number.
Don’t bother to call the FTC or fill out the complaint forms. They’re a bunch of [***] and they won’t do one damned thing to help you. They don’t really have any power to do anything, and the DNC list is a total joke.
If you are willing to pay the price you can stop these calls. Call blocking as it is currently available from service providers is not useful since they only allow you to block about 5-10 numbers. Even the Panasonic phones with built in call blocking will only block 30 numbers. Surveys can't be blocked by call blocking services anyway. If you want to spend the money, you can buy a device that will block 80 numbers from calling you no matter WHAT numbers they are. they call, and no one answers when I pick up the phone.  I called the number.  They said it was a survey service and I could get off their call list by sending an email to opt out . something or other.  I am afraid that will just put me on a spam list.  Planning not to answer their calls again.

The call said thank you this is SSI calling. It is 8:30 pm so I know it is not them
