I received this call on my cell phone and did not answer it because I did not recognize the phone number. But, when I called it back the voice message that all lines were busy, please leave your name number and they were calling about my student debt. Funny, I haven't been a student for over 40 years!!!  

samething happened to me,called number back and was imformed that the nuimber was a prepay phone with no more calls  being accepted until more mins were purchased

I just got a call and i didn't answer it... This is most likely the NSA surveillance program making sure your name has a good working number... The system probably calls check and register your phone number, then automatically records your every phone call and possibly every conversation... Ijs....

This number call me twice when I said hello no one answer.....then the line get busy... when I call back I get a busy signal.

Saying my student loan is eligible for reduced rate.  I don't have a student loan.

Got a call from 4242500740 on my cell.  Left no message.  Called back and it is a non-working number.

Phone companies need to figure out how to fix this problem of scammers!!

I've been receiving this phone call for several days now. When I try to call back it state reps are busy leave a phone number & name & will call you back. It has something to do with a lower interest rate on a student loan. I've never had one

Sane here. They left a message about a student loan. I don't have any student loans and never have.

The phone number traces back to bandwidth.com VOIP.  I have received spam calls from other bandwidth.com VOIP numbers too such as 970-283-7534.  Do a reverse lookup on all your spam calls and if you are getting spammed from other bandwidth.com numbers,  I suggest you put in a complaint to bandwidth.com.

There was a message left on my voice mail (i did not answer). The voice mail was a spiel about getting a home loan so I could relax and not worry about money.

I got a automated call from 4242500740 with a recording to help with my mortgage.   Ironic that the house has been owned free and clear for three generations.   If this isn't a scam, it sure is unwanted, all the more so considering my number is listed on the do not call list.

Yep, same thing, student loan LMAO, Ive never had a student loan, all of it was paid for out of pocket. . Friggen scammers, I tried pressing 1 to speak to someone, but nothing, tried calling back, but it goes to a message stating that phone calls to this number are not allowed or something.

Just received the spam call from 424-250-0740 saying the reduced rate on student loans line. i hope it's not a phishing scam for poor gullible people. I tried to press 2 to speak with someone but it hung up. Reported to bandwidth.com as the "noname" message instructed above.

I answered the call, identified as "Los Angeles area" and it was a pre-recorded message stating something about my student loan would be qualified under a new law -- plan -- can't remember by Obama for .... a new plan....(I was distracted at the time of the call --- sorry, short-term amnesia)... anyway glad I checked the phone number, and didn't call back, although it might be too late since I picked up the call as it came in.
