Caller ID showed a call from 425-282-5526 at 3:59 PM on Sunday. Sep 30, 2007.  No other information

425-282-5526 has called several times, but not left a message.

these people call all the stinken time and never leave a message.  i finally answered and told them i would answer there questions.  after a couple minutes of questions, i asked how much longer, oh 13 more minutes.  she couldn't understand how my time was more important than answering questions that were pointless.  i asked her not to call back, let's see about that.

Ok well this how I hopefully solved the issue for myself. I called the offending number back and got this auto response " this mailbox does not accept messages".  Nothing else helpful as to who they were.  So I google'd the number 425-282-5526 and found out from all you helpful folks that this was Pacific Market Research.   Again I did a google on the name and found there address and a phone number to there office in Renton Wa. Called the number and gave the young guy an earful.  I was PO'd that the number on there call back number was useless if I couldn't leave a message....blah blah blah. Anyway I was told that it would be removed, we'll have to wait and see I guess.  Below is the contact info for them.

Phone rang three times and this number was on caller ID with "unavailable" and the caller did not leave a message.

They keep calling and never leave a message.  Sometimes they call more than once a day.  The caller ID states the party's name is unavailable.  If they are a reputable company, they should have their company name on the Caller ID.  By the way, I know where Grady Way is in Renton.

i found the number from this website, called them and asked why they were calling me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!????????
they had it was a computer calling and after so many rings that the computer thinks that no one is there.
the reason why it continues to call is that if you pick it up once dont answer their questions they ontinue to! If you call them and tell them that they should put you on the do-not-call list they do.

Started calling daily until they reached me. I had to tell the obnoxious person who called that I wanted to be removed from their list THREE TIMES during the conversation and she kept trying to duck it while being deliberately obnoxious.

Supposedly marketing survey companies are allowed to call you but here are 2 questions I would like to have answered:

1) Why are they allowed to bother people in their homes trying to get personal information out of people? Yes, marketing survey questions give out A LOT of information about you even if they don't get your SSN and credit card number. And while they may or may not be calling to sell you something directly, they are still making money from your personal info.

2) Who the heck even knows for sure if a call is REALLY even a marketing survey? How do you know its not someone preparing to steal your identity, or trying to get other information out of you under fraudulent pretenses?

At least it wasn't someone calling from a political campaign again.

Calls at least once a day every day. Tracked down via Google to this thread.
Called, gave them both my numbers (one a FAX) that are on the National DNC registry and politely asked that they be put on their do not call list.

Person who answered wanted to know what survey I was being called about, and I said - I don't know and don't care. She indicated that she would try to track the numbers down and have them removed from their system. I suggested that she make sure, because on the next call from them, they will be subject to an FCC complaint, and possible fines.

Someone called me from 425-282-5526 and the guy was speaking in spanish (I dont speak spanish). This is not the first time and Im tired of it. Im suppose to be on the "do not call"list, ha! I wonder if there is some kind of harassment charges we could get together and file.

So it's a computer problem that's causing the "unknown name" to hang up when I answer the phone? Pacific Market Research needs to get a new computer and obey the "No Call List".  Only one call this evening, so far.  Thanks for the info.   Western Kentucky.

I received 2 calls within an hour and I'm sure they are going to call again. No message was left.

I receive at least one call a day usually late in the afternoon. No message, it hangs up after four rings before the machine goes off. You'd think they'd get the idea when someone NEVER answers the phone, stop calling this number. I'm afraid if I answer and tell them to shove it, they will realize there's a live person on the other end of this number after all and I'll NEVER get rid of them.

Receive at least 1 call every day from this number. When answering machine picks up--they hang up. I work at night and sleep days. This is very annoying and disturbs my sleep. If I could blow up my phone and get them---I would.

I experience the same scenario as some of you. Number calls me and hangs up without leaving a message. Hangs up on second ring. I came across this site when I was researching the number. Well they called me the 3rd time and I found out they were calling on behalf of Microsoft to do a play test. So if you registered to do a playtest could be them calling you to see if you fit their profile for something they wanted tested.
