Called, I answered heard someone, something...I said hello, again HELLO...then HHHEEELLLOOOOO!!!
Nothing, so I hung up. they called back 20 minutes later. Did not answer. The "name" that comes up with the number is HPT  HPT

The caller heard my greeting message, then started their recorded woman's voice which identified them as Home Protection Technology. They stopped playing their message but did not disconnect. I could hear two men having a discussion in some African language and laughing in the background. The recorded message continued for 33 seconds, then terminated.   The caller ID identified this caller twice in the same minute.  This is undoubtedly a scam.

Security scamers

Why is this caller constantly calling?  This number is in Washington.and is promoting home security!

Just tried to file a complaint with the National Do Not call list since my number is registered and since this company has not had this number for more than 31 days they were unable to accept my complaint.

Called 5x's so far. I don't  speak and " they" don't either. Listed as HPT HPT

These people keep calling, I have requested they do not call again, but the recording on their end does not understand this.  I am on the "Do not call" list in Mississippi, and they call several times per day.  Is there anyway to stop this???  Caller ID is HTP  HTP

They keep calling but never say anything when I say hello.  The letter's are HPT HPT.

They listen for old people and then scam them out of $$ for a "free" security system. They call my numbers maybe 15 times a week and never remove you from their list.

Got A Call From "(425) 320-5064" December 31 At 9:31 AM CST.  The Caller I.D. Indicated "HPT HPT" From TEL.#: "1-(425) 320-5064".  I Said "Hello".  Heard Nothing. I Said "Hello" Once More...  Heard Nothing...  Pressed My Mute Button...  Waited...  The Call Dropped After About 5 Seconds...

just call me came up heartland poker when the lady said she was selling security system  i told her why her id showed heartland poker and she quickly hung up. be aware with new phone devices  that people r using are other peoples ids so that u will answer the phone.

Just received a call.  Hello - no one there, click, line went dead.  I belie ve that it is a home security company.  I simply cannot comprehend why anyone would tell someone who called them if that had a security system or not.  My system is big, fuzzy, and has eight legs.

I've gotten three calls from them in the last couple of hours. Each time it's Abby. I finally figured out Abby is a robo-call that responds to any words. You can say spaghetti, car tires, nail polish, anything and she's going to say Great! or Wonderful! Until you get to the last question about if you own or rent. If you say a nonsense word she says I'm sorry I don't understand, let me let you talk to my supervisor who's standing right here. Then an actual person comes on the line. Then it's time for my trusty air horn. Such fun!

This one called me again today, I also am on the National and Mississippi do not call list FTC accepted my complaint today, 01/03/2013.

I have a suspicion that they are trying to connect a legitimate line so they can make illegal long distance calls.  I read an article about this sort of scam.  I got two calls today and now I think I will call AT&T to block the number
