Who are these morons? They won't stop calling - Just got my second call today. I've reported them to the DNC center MANY times!

Just got a call from them, have caller ID, so I did not pick up.  Have had many calls before, different numbers, but always NEW CO.  Seems to be the time of year for cranks asking for money or political stuff.  Wish the "do not call list" would do something.

Three calls in one day, never answer and have repoted them to the do not call list.  Seems to make little difference.

These folks are calling me about 3 times per day.  It is annoying and I would like to know who calls and never leaves a message.

They call me often. It comes is spurts though. I will get multiple calls from them a day for a few days in a row. Then, a few weeks will pass with nothing, and then the phone calls start again. It is always a computer animated voice asking about something to do with my housing finance or something. I hang up on them because I don't own a house since I am a college student living in the dorms. Anyways, I am fairly certain this is a scam. Plus, it gets quite annoying!

I keep receiving calls from this number.  Caller ID says NÉW CO.

FOUR MORE CALLS over the past two day since I last filed another complaint with the Do Not Call Registry - next step is to contact our congressman if the idiots at the Do Call Registry won't do their jobs and MAKE THIS STOP!

Unfortunately, there are HUGE loop holes for these folks to avoid the Do Not Call list and they're using them.  If they call random numbers, yours can come up. Also, it's not a computer animated voice - that's for movies - it's computer generated voice.

This is a company selling medical alert devices, AKA "I've fallen and I can't get up." If anyone in your family or if someone who used to have your phone number ever received diabetes supplies or other medical stuff, that's where they got your number.

Notice they do NOT have BBB.org accreditation. In order to get them to STOP calling you must write a letter stating "Stop Calling" and send it certified return-receipt. It will cost you $5.89 to do this. That's the only way to (legally) get them to stop. If not, brace yourself: They will call starting 6:30am!! (Which is illegal, but they'll do it anyway).

I get this number many times a week with no one on the other end. it doesn't do any good to call the do not call list. That in itself is a scam. I have no time to myself trying to get things done and taking care of my baby. I don't have time to answer the phone all the time. I wish they would stop. They are ruthless people and quite desperate for business...........who isn't these days.

Use's a TCG to discourage the people to pick up the phone, because it is an AREA CODE and not a 1-800 you see on the caller ID.

Basically one of those companies, that are in the [***] or, have no regular buyers for there items.
(That or, have no idea how to set up a mailing habit).


If you answer, just ask to be put on the DO NOT CALL list.
(Most times it takes up to 1 week).

If you don't answer, press *69 to get the number, call it back enjoy the annoying AVM (Automated Voice Message), then press ONE (1) at the end and hang up.
(Most times it takes up to 1 week).


If they keep calling (which most do), you can call your provider, and ask for that number to be blocked, or ask for the access code to do it yourself.
