caller id on home phone says Renton, WA...anyone know who this is? i added it to my block list.

My caller ID said "Phone"... let it go to voicemail, it just hangs up.

It is a spoof number. it is from scammers who promise to lower your credit card interest rates.
They have many spoof numbers they use and sometimes it  comes up as Credit Card Services or Card Member services. Therse SOB's have been calling my home & cell numbers for over a year and they dont stop, call 2 - 3 times per day. I used to file a complaint everytime on the DNC list - but it makes no difference - they cant track them down. I have pressed "1" to talk to a live person as it states and they will just hang up on you or cuss at you when you ask to be removed from their list. I wish I could find them as I would blow their offices off the face of this earth.

These f@ckers just called here in the middle of the night.   12:30 AM

calls-leaves no message. usually calls early morn and I am not up-sick of it!

Our wonderful government at hard at work DOING NOTHING. COMCAST sucks, why only 10 numbers and why not far more control and options, probably because they told NOT TO. Here's an option to fully address all #'s you want to block. If you use your computer regularly (mine is on 24/7 for email, etc) purchase an inexpensive VFD modem card, not the cheapest one either. Go to http://www.nch.com.au/ivm/index.html and check your selected VFD modem for 100% compatibility before you buy one. Mine is old, not on the list and it work fine. You can store unlimited bad #'s in an Excel.cvs file (straight ASCII text file that can be edited with notepad). The only thing they don't tell you in the docs is that the bad number format cannot contain and dashes (bad program parsing I guess) ie. Bad:111-222-3333 Good 1112223333 or it won't see or process it on a call pickup. So now you can you your computer also for a very capable voicemail answering system as well.

Relentless calls asking for your CC number so they can SAVE YOU money.Reported to the DNC list. Futile

When ever i get a call from this number or similar number i get obscene over the phone. Wheather it is a guy or girl i ask they what they are wearing and start to get into personal things.the girls just hang up and the guys get angry and then hang up. It gets better when you tell them you are gonna post the audio on youtube.

Credit card scam.

I called them back and got a recorded message telling me to dial 1 to be taken off the list. I do like Perry's idea of creating execl / ASCII file for automatic phone answering.

Calls repeatedly..no answer..no voice mail.
