Received a Robo Call from 425-406-9420, Hung up and the system called back right away, This time I went along with the call, waited for a representive to answer and when Anthony answered I asked to remove my number and he said NO and hung up.D9

Got call from this number this morning...left message on voice mail about wanting to renegotiate my home loan.  Obviously, telemarketer.  Said to enter "9" if not a homeowner in message.  Wish these calls could be STOPPED!!!  Am on "do not call" list--so much for that!

Received an automated call about lowering my credit card rates. No company name was provided and the message was worded in such a way that it implied it was from my current credit card company. Very deceptive.

There was an option at the end to talk to a representative or to stop further reminders. Needless to say, stopped further reminders, but we'll see.

So much for being on the "do no call list."

I just got the call this morning. I chose not to answer and I'm glad I didn't. Did some research and apparently they are a fraud. How do these people get away with this stuff?! It says it's a land line from a Kirkland WA. I'm guessing they somehow got through even though I'm on the Don't Not Call list...

I too just recieved a call and hung up.  I received a second call within a minute from a different number 425-800-2325 with the same message.

Received a call this morning and was told that since I paid my cc payment on time that my interest rate was going to be reduced.  All I had t do to keep this rate for the life of the card was to conitinue to pay on time.  He thin asked for my expiration date and I asked him to tell me what it was.  He then stated that he needed me to tell him so he would know that the card was not lost or stolen.  Needless to say I ended the call.  I then called my cc company and they confirmed that it was a hoax.

Called my cell phone. Didn't recognize #, didn't answer.

In Maryland. Got call on 02/01/2013 and voice mail said to enter my phone number in order to be placed on the DO NOT CALL LIST!  Thank god I did not do that and checked this number here first.

2-1-13 call came in at 1:42pm PST, I didn't answer, they left no msg, spider sense still sharp.

My call was "Heather" from account services about my current credit card.  Scam.  I'm on the Do Not Call list, so why are these scam calls still allowed to get through?  All of these reports for this number, yet it's still happening today.

best thing to do when getting annoying calls like this that violate DoNotCall status is to waste their time by pretending you are interested in their product or service.  Let them interview you, give all incorrect replies and eventually when you get bored, tell them you just scammed them and hang up on them.  I kept one loser on the line for almost an hour as he was working on trying to consolidate all my imaginary high interest credit cards.  When they ask for a contact number, I always give them the number to my local police department, in case they want to call back.

Got a call from this number, I did not answer as I did not recognize it. I called the number back (my my number blocked) to see who called. I got an automated recording saying to follow prompts to opt out, when asked to enter my number, I immediately hung up. This is obviously a scam and away to verify my number was valid. I am on the Do Not Call List.

Robo caller scammer, spammer.

The FCC has temporarily halted 7 minor unprofitable boiler rooms who will receive a slap on the wrist and be back at it within a few days. In the meantime the calls will continue since they are making money with what is called a CNAM revenue-sharing program through companies like http://www.telephonemanagement.net and http://www.CallerID4U.com

Our CNAM revenue-sharing program helps you make money every time a Caller ID request is made by a phone carrier. A high-traffic call center can lose hundreds to thousands of dollars a day to phone carriers by allowing them to charge for access to your own data.'

You can now see why the criminals keep calling even though they know you won't fall for their scam. They are making money even if you don't answer the phone. If someone does make the mistake of answering the phone and falling for their con then it is just icing on the cake for them.

2.    Consider blocking the number or on a cell phone add it to a contact list and assign NO ring tone

5.    People should continually file complaints with their Attorney Generals office

Somewhere i learned that these calls actually come from overseas.  Belize if i recall correctly.
I asked who the company is.  The person on the other end indicated that he was from visa and wells fargo and Bank of America.  I suggest every time they call, call 800-visa-911 and report it.  Bank of america has enough political clout to put an end to it!  They will only if it is enough trouble for them.  It takes legislation to close the loopholes and that will only happen if the BIG GUNS COME ON BOARD!
I am on the DO NOT CALL!  So far the FCC seems to be impotent!  

This scam is on all of the who calls pages with a great many numbers!

It is long since time to put an end to this scam Whatever it is!  It still violates my DO NOT CALL VERY OFTEN!
