Report a phone call from 425-645-9767 and help to identify who and why is calling from this number.
- JenniferFirstly, I am on the do not call list so I was very suspicious of this call.
I answered and pressed 1 to be connected to an operator to discuss my credit card account. Then, this guy got on the line with an accent and wanted me to give him all of my credit card numbers and expiration dates so that he could verify my accounts and lower all of the APR % rates on all of the cards...
When I questioned him, he got rude and tried to make me feel like he was trying to help me and that I was making it difficult. When I asked him how he was able to access my multiple credit cards from multiple companies, he said that his computer system allowed him easily because he was from Visa and Mastercard. This sounds scary and now I wonder how I got on his list. I told him I have no credit cards and wondered how his 'computer' told him that I do. He said that since I have no cards, he didn't have anything further to offer me and then he hung up.
Report this number!!!- Caller: Visa and Mastercard 'Services' - HOAX
- swissJennifer from "Account Services" recording. Pressed 1 and the woman said she would like to lower my interest rates. I do not have any credit cards or debt so knew it was a scam. I told her I knew she needed a job and could sympathize -- but getting people to give out their credit card numbers is a very very bad thing to do, and she would be doing much better for herself and other people if she didn't steal credit cards for a living. Then I hung up. Why does the govt not go after these people?

- BobGot a call from this number. When I connected to a live person, I told he that I do not have ANY credit card debt, or other debt besides my mortgage, and ask to be put on the no call list. Before I could finish my sentence, I was hung up on. What an outstanding company!!!!

- jtRecorded message saying this was an urgent call about "my credit card account" and that there was a possibility to lower my APR to 6.9%. Press "1" to speak to a representative. So I did, and a woman with a thick accent picked up:
- she claimed to represent ALL institutions that issue visa and mastercard credit cards
- she asked me if I "still owe" $3500 on any account
- she would not properly identify the organization she was calling from
- she would not tell me if this is in reference to any specific CC account
- she got indignant when I told her it was none of her business how much I owed anyone
- she got increasingly rude when I refused to reveal any information
- she hung up when I asked her to remove my number from their call list- Caller: CREDIT SERVICES
- mlh| 1 replyHave been receiving an ever increasing number of calls from this number - and others. Have not answered any but they just do not give up on their calls. Surely there must be some action that someone can take to stop this abuse.

- FifiI just called 2 times from and unknown phone, and I too got a man with an accent. He wanted to know what phone number their (PMT) message was left on, and I gave him the wrong number. He got very upset with me and hung up. So I called back again, and talked to "Theresa". She also wanted to know what phone number they left a message on. I told her that I was not going to give her any information. She then offered to put my number on their "no contact list". Why now, would they want to put me on their "no contact list" when supposedly, I "owe them money" for the Municiple Court system? I told her that I was recording her, and reporting this number for fraudulant purposes. She hung up. Please investigate!!!!

- SS RaoGot a call at 2:42 PM central time today(5/15/10). It was a message read out by a machine promising to reduce the credit card rate to 6.9%. Then it said press 1 to speak to someone and 2 for remove the number. I press 2, but it still went to an operator. Before I could complete saying I pressed 2 to be removed, she hangs up the call.
When I call back the #, there's an automated message asking me to press 1 to be removed.
BTW, I am on the do not call list, but they don't seem to care.- Caller: Credit Services

- BobI got a call today from this number. I always screen my calls and NEVER answer any number I do not recognize. So, I let this go to my answering machine. Of course there was never a message left and no sign of a human being on the other end. I recently went through a Chapter 7 Bankruptcy and 100% of all my debt was discharged. So, I know they could not be calling me about an outstanding debt. Fortunatly I have a phone that allows me to add numbers to my blocked callers list. This is just one more that is now added.

- RattlesnakeThese are spoof calls from your spineless debt collector NCO Financial. Congress has just passed a bill making it against the law to spoof call. Contact the US Attorney General in your area.

- kaelThe number is a scam, dial *57 to trace immediately after receiving one of these calls. I've been told it's helpful if you keep them on the line and "play with them" a bit, but do not give out your information, or confirm any information that they give you. The "companies" are spoofing caller ID's, so *57 is the only way to get a good trace. You must get a minimum of 3 traces on any of these scam numbers, then you can start calling your phone provider and law enforcement to report it and take action. Take these butt heads down. In PA you can call 412 388 5300. That's the number for the Credit Card Task Force in PA. It was a real PIA to get that number, I got the run around for about an hour trying to find the correct state agency to handle my complaint. No wonder these people are hard to catch....so if you're getting these calls please do everyone a favor by taking a few hours of your day to help stop these crimes, fraud effects everyone.

- CapAlso received a call this A.M. from 4256459767. Have received similar calls over the years and have "played" their game. Asked the "accented voice" which credit card was she calling me about. She couldn't tell me other than VISA and MasterCard. When I told her I didn't have any credit cards, so how did she get my name, she hung up.

- JeanI am on the do not call list, but get this credit information scam often. Hope it can be stopped soon!

- LI RoeI saw this number on my caller id and since it came up Unknown Number and not an area code I know people in, I chose to let the machine pick up. As soon as my outgoing message came on, whoever was calling hung up. I am also on the do not call list, but there are companies who choose to ignore the list and will try to get information from people. o
And considering I have absolutely no outstanding debt of any kind (except for credit cards which are paid in full each month), they have nothing to go on. The first tip is when they ask you for your credit card numbers. Unfortunately, there are people who will give it out without thinking.
