Received #5 Calls in the last three days from 425-668-9652. Man has an accent ( sounds like India ) and says he is from Computer company and my computer has a problem and it is sending him a message.. Asked him repeatedly to identify his company. He used Microsoft's name. I told him that I know that Microsoft doesn't make these calls types of calls.  Told him I don't have a problem, asked him not to call my number as I am on the Do Not Call List. I hung up. He called a second time the same day and I reiterated the same message and then hung up. They now have a robo call calling at all hours and the phone beeps, pauses and then says good bye. I believe he was angry at my not listening to his message. Who do we call to get this company to stop calling our phone line and harassing us? Any ideas from anyone else?

I just got back to back calls from that number, i answer hear niothing, i call it back and get an operator intercept with this msg "the verizon number you are dialing has been changed or disconnected"

I have received 2 such calls, they stated that microsoft notified them that the computer was having system errors. the voice sounded like he was from India, asked for "Mr. Thomas" He stated he was not selling any software, but my computer was in danger of having a harddrive crash. I was cut off when I asked for a number I could call to verify his call as legitimate.

keep getting calls from these people they keep asking for a person we bought our house from . I have told them time and time again they have the wrong number and to remove this number from their list they keep calling guy has a accent(from india)

I am getting a call from this number stating he is from Microsoft and that I am getting excess malware etcetera.  The caller with an Indian accent identified himself as Jack Williams. I had him call me back in two hours. He did call and I told him not call back else I would turn him over to the DA.

I get the same calls and reported it to the Federal Trade Commission.  If you have the FTC block your number against these types of calls and they still do it after a month, it is then against the law. To complain, y need date/time of call & number if you have it.

Acll cmae in man said he was from micsoft and they want him to fix my computor.I ask for proof , and he gave me this number 8016182119  ex.673.I called and someone did answer,said he would let John Wilson know I called.I said no the police would be calling and he could explain it all to him.The man that sounded like Indian called himself John Wilson continued to call threatened me saying his agent would be here in three hours to get my computor and me.He called me the Fn lady over and over ,was very nasty .I called the sheriff and he looked it up and yes it is a scam.And I think we should be able to protect ourselves against this sort of harrassment.I finally stopped answering my phone.He was very upset with me to say the least.I am hoping he will find a real job.In his own country.

Just got a phone call at 8:30 am from this number.  It was a man with what sounds like an indian accent.  Told me that my computer was curropted and that he wanted to help me clean it up.  Told me he was from Microsoft Windows. he showed me the errors and warnings on my computer then told me to proceed to a webpage www.support.me  This brings you to a logmemein123.com and asks for a support connection.  Thus allowing them to access my computer.  They give you a number, for example 843254, which is the one he gave me. My computer kept closing windows but also gave me a warning that the person using the www.longmein123.com site was also using a trial addition.  I had a few problems with this guy and asked him for some information so that I could be sure about him and then he sent me to www.windowstechnicalsupport.com site and told me that he was calling from there. would not give me a name or an employee number.  I told him that Windows does not make these types of phone calls, and he proceeded to tell me that they had tried to contact me and that they have been sending me warning messages in the last day.  The funny thing was that I had not used my computer in the past few days.  When I decided to comply my computer was not, which was a good thing, cause when I told him over and over again that my IE was closing on it's own from an error I think he got annoyed or upset and told me "I was a good actor and I should go to Hollywood."  Then he hung up the phone.

I just received a call from this number.  It was a man with an accent telling me similar stuff as everyone listed here.  It's a scam of some sort.  When I asked him where he lived, he hung up.

The guy from phone #4256689652 just called here. He had an indian accent and told me that my computer was going to crash. I told him to talk to my husband but he was asleep. He said, "wake him up then." i told him to call back later. He said if i didnt go to my computer right away, it would crash. He could help me. Hmmm...I put my husband on the phone. I overheard him tell the guy that if he didnt have our IP address then he was a scam, and if our computer crashes, we will buy a new one.

I had the  same fellow calling me yesterday sept 7 with the same  request. He seems to  have  the same accent . He's trying to go in our computer. I have no idea who he his & it seems that the call came from   Bellevue, Washington State U.S.A

"unknown name" on the caller ID.  Another spoofed number. Thanks to all who post.  My fax machine will answer and scream in his ear next time.

Call several times during the week stating he is from Microsoft and my computer is at risk. I have threatened to call the police on them but they still call. They called this morning and it was definitely harassment. They are calling for my grandmother who is 92 and doesn't have a computer. I told him that and he said she needs to buy a computer and we need to give him $1000. After I hung up on him he called back repeatedly whispering "Give me $1000.00" in an Indian accent. I laughed at him and hung up again. When he called again I acted like I couldn't speak english and after saying give him $1000 again he finally went back into his call tactic. He finally hung up on me. Then called back AGAIN and I just didn't say anything so he finally hung up. That was a total of 4 times just today! This person needs to be stopped.

Same crap with me.  I told him to come over and take the computer and fix it, and then bring it to me.  He said he would check his schedule and get back to me on when he is available.  If he gives me a time to pick it up (which I doubt he will), I will call to cops and tell them to come over 10 minutes after the actual appointment.  When he comes, I will invite him and put a shotgun to his head until the police arrives.  Let's see if he tries to pull this crap again.  But then again, he is probably in India and is trying to rip ppl off by stealing their personal info from their computers.

Getting the same message. Guy with Indian accent is calling saying he is a representative of Microsoft and attempting to extort money from me to fix my machine.

Sending a report to Verizon about the abusive number, and also sending a report in to Microsoft that this particular number is sending fraudulent messages misrepresenting their company. I suggest anyone and everyone else to take the time to do the same.

Same BS here no one there so I ignore the calls but they continue  there must be a way to stop this annoying activity

More than likely he'll ask you to go to a website and install something to remote into the system to steal information off of the machine or to install malware to grab your credentials to whatever websites you log onto. He's not going to come to your house - he's not even going to leave his chair.

It is best to not respond to this number as it's pretty much a disposable phone. Instead, report it to your local authorities, and report it to Microsoft as making fraudulent calls on their behalf. They can make a push to whatever phone company to get the number removed or get information about the current owner so that they can make a legal case against them.

Hurt them in the wallet. It's a lot more satisfying long-term than hitting them in the gut.

Just called @6:21 Sept. 09,2013. Foreign accent (Indian) kept telling me to turn on my computer....I was on my computer! I kept saying "WHAT, WHAT" Finally after he told me that he was from Windows, I said.. oh yeah..you are a scam! I have already reported you! He began to say what he wanted to do to me! I hung up. This is not the first time I have gotten a call from him. Usually I don't answer calls that I don't recognize, just caught me off guard!
