Got a call from this number.

they never say anything

when i called back, they said they were calling about my capitol one card which i do not have. he forwarded me to an associate to remove my name. she again asked for my number and then asked for my name. i told her she called me so they should know. the day before, i received a call from NCO from a different area code 571-261-0072. within a minute of the first call that i made, i called the 571 number and got the same guy. he remembered me and said that i do not need to call all the numbers. both people that i talked with had foreign accents. Amazing that this guy is handling calls from the 434 and 571 area codes at the same time. do these scammers really think that americans are this dumb ??

I tried to call back, but the phone number was busy.  I suspect they are looking for the person that had my current cell phone number.  I've received several calls from collection agencies looking for this person.

just got a call from this number, they wanted Michael Cool or something like that, I said''this is the 3rd time you've called and each time I've told you I don't know that name, to please take my number off your list. they said it would take 5 to 10 days.  HAHA big joke

If they are going to call from so many different numbers then hang up before you get a chance to answer then they should be polite enough to leave a message or at least let you know what it's about. They need to stop calling every day and no letting you know what it's about. If you could at least get a hint as to what they want maybe you could give them an answer.

These guys are scammers. They seem to have compiled a master list of contact information for Capital One cardholders, both past and present, including those who may have experienced delinquency, collections or legal action in recent years. Don't volunteer or confirm any sensitive and/or personal information for these people. I have no idea what they are ultimately trying to do, but it's clear that they aren't legit.

I have a property hearing in November regarding an unpaid Capital One card I used briefly as a teenager. My case was transferred from collections to a local law practice long ago and I've since spoken with their paralegal in depth, so what possible reason would an alleged collection agency like "NCO Financial" have to STILL be aggressively contacting me? Thinly-veiled nonsense, for certain. Don't try to make payment arrangements with these con artists -- if you actually DO have a Capital One card that is delinquent or going into default, get in touch with Capital One customer service (ask which agency it was transferred to), watch your mailbox for legitimate mailings from a real-life collection agency with professional letterhead and a return address, etc.

Use common sense and trust your instincts! Good luck.

uhhhhh these people call me every weekend looking for people that i've never even heard of. i've asked them to remove my number everytime they call and i still get calls!

I picked up a new cell phone and went the prepaid route only paying on days I use it.

I get at least one call a day from a random number and when I search it is NCO.

I thought it might be a scam to make me use my cell on unwanted days.

They never leave a message to communicate why they are calling ?????

A canned air horn works wonders. You know, the kind used at football games etc. Give it a short blast every time they call.

This is one of several numbers that calls me throughout the day. My cell rings about 50 times a day with a number that I don't recognize. Its really starting to tick me off.

I called them back. NCO asking me for my Capital One account number. I do not nor have I ever had one. I told them to remove me. They said it would take 48 hours. They continue to call at all hours. I've talked to them 4 times and each time I'm told I'll be removed within 48 hours. Last time I was told I'm not even in their system and their computer must be stuck in a loop if it's still calling me. They'll now check with their "dial system" department. I'm getting bothered and I've never had one of their cards or bad debt with them. Man, I'd hate to have them trying to collect a debt from me.

I have been recieving calls from this number about a capital one account master card. I have never had such an account. They said I have been delinquent on payments and $200 dollars over the limit. When I ask them to provide any information the seem dumbfounded and want me to provide my personal information to them. I am not that slow, DO NOT GIVE THESE CREEPS ANY INFO. I called them and they have a fake capital one recording, don't be fooled. I told them to take me off the list, but they will not tell how they got my number. Hope you burn in hell.

I just program my phone to send all THEIR calls, and every other collection agency [***]'s calls straight to my voicemail. This way I never know when they called, until I check the call log on my phone, and you KNOW they wont leave a message !!

they keep calling and asking for a jerry.  no jerry lives here.  we don't even have credit cards.  tell them that they have the wrong # and they still harass me

they keep calling me, and wont say anything till i scream in the phone, ask for kevin, no kevin here, and its my cell phone. then they call again, and again... so i called no answer and again i called and finally got some one and they wanted my info i said for them to quit calling, they said they was a finance company who knows but they are a annoying!!!!

I have been getting calls non-stop from this number. They call me day and night 24/7. I am sick to my hears with this situation. I have reported them already.
