- rich fcalled no message instant blocking time
- Jeff| 1 replyThey have a bad attitude and get angry if you ask to be removed from further calling. They even say that this isn't an advertising call to sell you Life Alert System but just want to sell you Life Alert System (shady scammers). The customer rep's name that I dealt with is Shaun. He got very angry when asked to be transferred to a supervisor. He refused about five times and then said the same intro when he answered and hung up.
Law enforcement agencies (FBI, FTC, FCC, etc) should really look into this company. Very shady way of trying to hide from being called a telemarketing call.- Caller: Utah Call - Life Alert System
- Call type: Telemarketer
- HLJI don't know who these clowns are, and I don't want to know. Have been on the "N0 Call List" for years. That seems to have been a waste of key punching.
- LENJust got a call from this phone number listed as being in Utah. Answered and line was dead !
- tired of itThese Life Alert people call me 2x per day everyday. Asking nicely for them to stop calling does not work, they call more often, using multiple spoofed numbers. The other day I told them what they were doing is illegal and is harassment. The caller replied to me "you're a ni**er bi**ch and I hope you die from not having life alert" They called again the same day.
I also get 2 calls per day from "Card services" lower interest rate scam. They will also cuss you out for telling them to stop calling.
I have reported over 200 calls to FCC since Feb 2014 and they are doing nothing about it. Going to my elected Rep next.- Caller: Life Alert, AKA Senior Life Support
- Call type: Telemarketer
- JimReceived a call this morning. Left no message. Knowing from past experience that the caller is a scammer. Did not call back. Read comments from
others. Why waste my time to call back and be insulted by a rude [***]. Do the government agencies actually stop these idiots?- Call type: Prank
- JohnI didn't answer and they left no message. I always look up the number although cell phone numbers that are unidentified will identify as a cell number & the state the area code originates in.
This number did not so I know it's a scam because I've donated to charities & the have me telephone number via unscrupulous sales of personal data by various charities.
And one other thing - avoid signing or donating to the organization known as change.org like the plague. They are egotistical power freaks that ignore unsubscribe requests and behave in the manner of moveon.org and other organizations that want to enact 2 sets of laws depending on whether their organization approves of you or not. - LizardIf my "smart" phone doesn't say what state it's from then I don't answer
- Caller: Life Alert
- bossmananother scammer call
- AnnieThis number calls and no one speaks! Just an open phone, it's a robot call or a really big time jerk. I blame the politicians who do Nothing to stop these kind of harassing calls. Enact a law to make it a Federal crime to annoy someone with repeat phone calls and have a Federal reportable database where we can go to report the robot call numbers.
- Caller: Unknown caller
- Tom Tucker435-846-9869. I get calls from this number and there is no one there. They originate from St. George, Utah. Numerous others have also reported this number. I also get calls almost daily from Life Alert and Card Services, a widely known scam that's been around for 30 years. I've been on the do not call list since there has been a list. Just another example of toothless federal law. The federal government really has no reason to exist.
- Caller: ?
- Curious| 2 repliesI wonder what would happen if all calls from unwanted telemarketers or robocallers were transferred/forwarded to the FTC switchboard.
- Call type: Telemarketer
- Trish replies to Curious| 1 replyFTC.....would do something if they were called at home all hours of the day and night!!! Do not call list is a joke! Our taxpayer dollars at work....I am sick of all the scammers.....what can we do?
- Captain Kirk replies to TrishChange your currency its rubbish or change your tax collector. have a nice day.
- unknownScammer keep calling even when I have them blocked
- MMJust missed a call from this number, *immediately* called back, and the number is disconnected? Obvious scam.
- ShellySo called life alert system!
- Caller: Unknown Name
- Call type: Telemarketer
- DebbieVerizon allows you to block 5 calls for 3 months at a time. You have to keep inputting numbers after 3 months but it is free. I am not sure how much they charge for permanent blocking. I may look into that. I have been on the "do not call" list for years. Does anyone really buy anything from these people?
- Caller: Life Alert
- Call type: Telemarketer
- PaulaI got a call from this number on 12-27-2014
I answered, but nobody spoke….it was long enough before the call hung up, that I know someone was there
I immediately called back and there was a bunch of beeps
then I called back 2 more times and I hear the recording that the number was no longer in service…
so…obviously this organization is phony and is up to no good…since no profits can be clearly made by us "customers" I believe it's a black op or some other government operation that isn't legit…because how do they get funded? - JoaniThis outfit is pure garbage. Tell me if my lawyer would help get rid of these bums.
- Caller: card services
