got a text at 2.46am on a saturday night saying i have an urgent parcel to collect. yeah right. im tempted to call to see what happens but i guess it's probably a bad idea

I had the same txt this morning at 4am 12th Oct 2008, as i'm not expecting a parcel i'll ignore it.

Got a text saying URGENT. Large parcel to deliver. Call now. I'm not expecting any parcels, so suspect a scam. I'm not going to call this number.

Just got the same message. Looks like a premium rate number so DO NOT CALL IT!!!

I received it too,I take it there's not a mass large parcel delivery this morning so I'll ignore it too!!!

Called me at 2.17am 12th october, I'm expecting a parcel from dell, also its my birthday? Ring any bells with anyone? Call number, says going to service rep,
gives options for consignment no or none then goes dead whichever no is pressed.

I was waiting for a Parcel - then I received the following text message "!!URGENT!! Large Parcel Awaiting Delivery.  Please Call NOW on +43820990914".  Searched for the number on Google and found your site saying that it is probably a Scam.  So thank you to everyone who use's this site!

I got one at 6:33am broke a lovely dream.

mine arrived at 11.48 lastnite the text arrived from this number +447765899262 which is a uk number. i dont think the number you are asked to call is premium rate but it could be redirected to one so be careful. i am ignoring it.

Yeah, same story here. Yet more scum trying to get their stinking hands on more of our hard earned cash which is'nt theirs........... oh hold on, is'nt that the number of 10 Downing Street?!!!!!!!

Use the 'phone number search' to see the comments on number 43820899510. This looks like the same scam from a different number in Austria.

I also received a text message at 02.57 on 12.10.08 saying I had parcel for delivery.  I do actually have a delivery that I'm waiting for but think this text could be a scam, any ideas?

This is a scam... Like parcel companies have the time to text all clients.. Just ignore it and delete it. If they want to contact you they will call you!

Got same message, googled etc. etc.

However, mine originated from 07919 343780.  Thinking of calling this one, but need to borrow somebody elses phone!!

I got this text at 4am to call for delivery, thank god my phone barred me from calling it. Im so gullable!!!!

i am waiting on a parcel and got this txt this morning, my first thought was delivereies on a sunday!!
then i realised the 2 numbers didnt match and googled it and ended here

i got the same msg from 07919343780, i called the other number and it is just engaged.....prob a scam
