Why does this number keep showing up on my son's phone?

This number has come up on my phone also. I am in the Silver Spring area of MD if anyone knows who it belongs to please let me know.  I also have teenage kids.

I am getting this number on my phone also, leaving weird messages with
typing in the background.

This number has appeared on my phone as an outgoing call 6 times since the begining of the month, but I have never called it before!  What is up with that?

All folks wondering who's number this is...it's the voicemail retrieval number for AT&T...  Hope this clarifies all the calls made to that number!

I received a voicemail from this number and when I retrieved it, all I heard was a ring and then the call ended. I found out that this is the number for the AT&T voice mail retrievel, but I don't understand why I would GET a call from a retrievel number. When I spoke to the rep at AT&T, she told me that it was probably a call to let me know that I was eligible for upgrades. Still, I don't understand why the call would come from the voice mail retrievel number and why I heard a ring and nothing else.

On voicemail, I received a call from this number. The caller did indeed leave a message, but she spoke in her native Chinese or Japanese. If I don't recognize the number, I never answer!

I rec'd a call 12/27/09 from 443-280-3092, leaving a very uncleared message with a lot of background noise.

This number called me, but by the time I got to the phone, ringing had stopped. Caller left no voice mail. I am on the Eastern Shore of MD

This is about the 4th time this number was on caller ID, but left no msg.

Can you all check your monthly bills to make sure that you are not being charged for the calls. If you are, you should contest the charges. The person that called me said that she was trying to find out who lost a phone for my phone number. Sounds like a scam to me.

this comes up ever time i accidentally pocket dial my voice mail...so...those messages are probably your pocket dials. i had the same thing and wondered what it was...so i think that is solved!

I have a TracFone with an AT&T sim card (I am in south-central PA) and this is the assigned voice mail access number - as others have stated.

I believe the number shows up just to let you know you have a new voice mail waiting for you and is prompting you to call your voice mail to retrieve it.

Called my cell phone today.  It is someone using AT&T voice mail number on caller ID but it is actually a telemarketer.  Not exactly sure what they are selling as the message they left was cut off to just the following "Press 1 to take advantage of this great promotion, press 7 to be removed from our list".  Unfortunately with only this much to go on there really is no point in even reporting these scumbags to the FTC for ignoring the DNC rules.

google  MOHAMMAD  and GOSWAP ...  and see all the messages this person is leaving on this swap site and saying call this number ????????   4432805282 --- must be a SCAMMER ??!!!
