This number keeps calling and calling several times a day while I am at work and never leaves a message.  Strange.

Calls every day - leaves no message.

Caller ID comes up as: Chesapeake B MD (as if it's a doctor). It's a debt collector.

When they called me, they said I owed Lowes a couple of hundred dollars from a Lowes credit card. Well, I have not had a Lowes credit card for over 17 years, and since I have a 809 credit score, I'm not too worried about it.

MD is for Maryland

This irritating person calls several times a day and hangs up after four rings? They call from several different numbers and do the same thing. This beginning to be a very clear case of harrassment and they should be stopped.

I keep getting calls from this and other numbers. They never leave a message, so I never answer the call. Annoying. I should answer and report them to the FCC.

They are a debt collection company that claim they cannot send letters to validate debt!

they called my father saying that he need to Pay $200 of debt. and he haven't pay electricity and Gas in New York. the most funny about it is that we live in Puerto Rico and we Never  had a house in  NY.

they asked for someone with the same last name as me. when I said they had the wrong number they wanted to know if I knew the person and asked my name. At that point I hung up. This sounds like one of those scams where if you acknowledge the call you are agreeing to owing them money....

I turned them into the FCC via 8 different forms and got a letter yesterday that they couldn't help.Referred me to the FTC (Federal Trade Commission) ftc.gov.  Just filled out an online form and submitted it to them.  I hope all will do this.  Asset Acceptance is an old debt acquisition company who refuses to believe that I am NOT the person they are seeking.  I've never had a Target account and have paid my AT&T four accounts early for decades.  Please take the steps to stop Asset Acceptance.

Man called asking for me by name then asked me to verify my social security number. Said he was __ from Asset Acceptance--I forgot the first name he gave. When I refused he promised to keep calling and would not give the reason for the call. Google and White Pages online locate the call as coming from Dunkirk, Maryland, south of Annapolis, SW of Washington D.C.

This number called at 11.42 am Tuesday, 21 Feb 2012.
At 12.05 received notice that someone was in my house.

Just received a call from this number. It was Asset Acceptance and they were trying to locate a previous resident at our house. The lady that I spoke to was polite and removed my number when I told her that the person that she was looking for didn't live here and that the address she had on record was incorrect. She didn't ask for any personal information, just asked if I knew the person she was looking for, and accepted "no" for an answer. Hopefully this will be the last that we hear from them.

I called them back as my husband and I have no debt. They told me that they were looking for someone named Maria Hernandez. I told her we didnt know who she was looking for that we were a filipino household not mexican and she called me a racist. I had to disconnect the call. I hope they stop calling me.

I need this number to stop calling me. I get calls throughout the day and night, over 2o calls a day and no messages. I have no idea who they are or what they want, but I need them to stop. The caller ID show ASSETACCEPTANCE.

This needs to stop!

This number calls my house everyday. We never answer it and they never leave a message for the nature of their business, so we don't feel that it's anything important. Asset Acceptance, STOP CALLING MY HOUSE, YOU PEOPLE ARE NERVE RACKING!!!!!!

keep your records of calls and contact an attorney, as they can be sued by you for $1000 dollars per each federal offense
