It's a zombie debt collector called RPM (Receivables Performance Management) Collection "Agency".... the Federal Trade Commission guy I called said they are most likely an off-shore scam. It is illegal to collect debts more than four years old (except for student loans and of course IRS) and/or has been written off by the original debt-holder. A lot of the so-called "zombie" debt collects actually get the account info which they refer to from hacked info from credit reports which have old account numbers and you contact info on them. Another thing is the credit reports to protect you only have a few digits of your social, so zombie collectors try to get you WHOLE social for their use by offering you the numbers they have and wanting you to tell them the other digits (pretending they are trying to identify you correctly). The FTC guy told me do not return their calls, don't answer their calls and if you accidentally answer DO NOT CONVERSE, simply hang up... this is in part because people who converse with them get put on illicit lists they share with one another of people likely to crack if pressured enough to pay them!!

Scam scam

I just got a call from this number.  Usually calls from an "Unknown", but I guess the guy working in the call center today forgot to hit the right button before calling.  They are a debt collector for PG&E out of CA.  I only know because I received a letter from them and they are a legit company.  It doesn't excuse the incessant calls, but at least they aren't a typical scam.

Notice they are using a Drs Name on there ID makes you think they are a Physician so you will call them back

Keep getting no message, hang up calls on my cell phone every day from phone number 443-599-8711. How did they get my cell phone number...is Sprint pimping numbers out? It's been going on every day all month. A legit business or agency would leave a message when they call. Both my land line and cell phone numbers are registered on the national do not call, but I'll report the problem to them once again.

It isn't a doctor. The name of the city is Glen Burnie Maryland (MD)

Same, I have been getting calls from this number for over a month now.  Once or twice a day with no message left.  I'm just going to keep ignoring them until they leave me alone.

This number keeps calling a tracfone I bought for emergencies. No one has the number except for my parents and brother. They never leave a message but call 3-5 times a day. I never answer.

I keep getting calls from this number at work and whoever it is always HANGS up as soon as I answer the phone.  I didn't answer today and no message was left.

Stop calling

I keep getting calls from this number. I answered one time and they hung up. I heard someone's voice in the background, just before the person hung up. When I don't answer, they don't leave a message. This happens a few times a month.

This number has called me how can i get them to stop

These guys are scum bags. The way to get them to stop is, When you have them on the line, DONT give up ANY information, Just say that you are recording the call and they are never to call THIS number again. Dont say MY number because then they will know they have the right person. Thats what Clark Howard radio show told me how to handle it and its worked on other callers.
