What'da'ya'know, an actual legitimate charity (for the blind) begging for money; not a scam. Not a bad score at charitynavigator.org either. Not a good score for donor privacy though. A lot are like that; so small that selling a list of 'soft touches' makes a significant addition to their operating funds. || Here's the thing - we donate to charities that we are involved with, plus the United Way (when we worked); one bill many charities. It is like taxes. People that drive on roads should pay for them (gasoline taxes); people that have children in school should pay for schools (or in school sports); you get the idea. We use a Digitone call blocker to block every call except local area codes. We un-blocked relatives living out of our area. It seems a shame that the phone company won't do that for us... not even for a monthly fee.
