- Rick TuckerHeavy accent, claimed he was a special agent with DEA and I needed to return the call as the matter was urgent.
Spoke with my local law enforcement and they said it was a scam that these people would call and tell you that you or a relative had a warrant for your arrest but for a certain amount of money the warrant would be canceled...
Bunch of scum....- Caller: DEA
- BGGot the same call. I hope no one falls prey to this a**hole.
- Caller: Fake DEA
- TJThis SOB literally just called me an hour ago. I didn't trust it, but I'm sure some people will be fooled. This is really disturbing. I have also gotten calls in the past by heavy accented people claiming to be an assistant DA and such, but they were found to also be fake upon investigation. I hope these MFs get caught.
- Caller: Fake DEA Special Agent
- jeffA guy with an Indian accent claimed he was from the DEA and had an arrest warrant for me.
- DustinSpecial Agent Pena and Special Agent Anthony Williams contacted me and told me they had a warrant for my arrest and U.S. Marshals would be knocking on my door within minutes. They said I was part of a 10 year investigation into the pharmaceutical industry and they had proof I had bought Viagra online in 2006. They said I would be extradited to the Dominican Republic if I did not send them $3,800.00 via western union within the hour.
I CALLED THE FBI AND DEA. I WAS TOLD THIS IS A SCAM!! THIS SCUM BAG NEEDS TO GET A REAL JOB, INSTEAD OF TRYING TO HUSSLE HARD WORKING AMERICANS OUT OF $$. I HOPE THE REAL DEA AND/OR THE REAL SPECIAL AGENT PENA / SPECIAL AGENT ANTHONY WILLIAMS GETS THEIR HANDS ON THIS CLOWN.
This is not your run-of-the-mill scam. These guys had a fake DEA switchboard with extensions for agents in the field. They had done their homework. They raddled off USC statutes they say I violated. They threatened to ruin my career and my family. At one point when I said I was going to ask my wife something they told me that she would be indicted for conspiracy if I mentioned anything to her about the supposed "on going" investigation.- Caller: FAKE DEA
- samI just got the same call from these people. He also has a very heavy accent and left a message that I needed to call them back. I'm so tired of these ***holes doing this to me!! Why can't anyone do something about this!!
- RJSJust got the same call from these guys, not first time, they did same last year. With 30+ years in law enforcement I can tell you that NEVER will we call someone and tell them to be at home in 10 minutes they will be by for arrest, same story as you guy shave gotten. Tell them that you willbe waiting for them, ask them how long they think you will be in jail so you can get your medicines prepared, just keep talking a mile a minute about details of your length of stay and they you are on oxygen, will they have that available, etc, etc.
Ask for a moment you will answer other line and be right back, lay the phone down and walk away. They will hang up after a while. Be sure to call local attorney generals office and report scam, and the number they called from, as you can see from the way we have all been called from same numbers to get on this post page, your local state attorneygeneral's office will take your complaint and handle it.
Keep smiling and keep posting, encourage your local AG office to run an newspaper article to warn others.
