Hello ,The unimaginable thing I feared most has happened to me.My motherpassed away yesterday night. I am the most distraught person on planetearth but there is need for me to gather mental, physical and spiritualstrenght at this trying moment. My mother is the catalyst behind all my present achievements and Ihave been 500% dependent on her for more future support.Why did shehave to go? Arrangements are being made and she will be laid to reston Sunday. I told my employer about the news and he has given hiscondolences.Also he told me to have patience with the payment(NATIONALBANK DRAFT) as it was sent via regular mail. He made a mistake of sending Andrew's(shipper) money along with your'sinstead of sending it seperately.What do we do about that? Pleaseadvise.

Watch out for this guy, I also got a call from +447712896158, I am not sure if it was related or not... but he seemed dodggy too.

This guy needs to contacted into the police department and needs to be arrested for these online scamms. it doesn't seem like we are the first victim, and it looks like his almost gotten the final steps on us. thanks for posting.

This guy is crazy. I hope people haven't sent him money. he told me his mother died. My mom felt really sorry for him and said at least he was moving into a house with really sympathetic people. But we didn't send him any money. Catch him if you can. sick jokester.

October 2009 - I cannot BELIEVE this crap.  I just found out about this scam and am disgusted.  I also received all of the same emails as above but got completely suckered into the whole mother dying thing.  I feel stupid for beleiving all this [***] but luckily I didn't send any money to anyone.

This guy seems to play a game with people or he is trying to analyse people behavior or, he is just evil and need attention.  Anyway, it is because of "kid" like this that we need to be very careful on internet.

Ya I had this guy aswell and I sent money back and I went to the police and they told me I could file a report but because it was under 5000.00 they couldn't do anything because the guy was in the UK and the fraud dept there will not even look at me because it was under 5000. I sent back 3500.00 Never again will I be sucker like this agin. I feel like such a fool.

I am also not opinionated and will never condemn anyone for their sexual, religious inclinations or what so ever primordial variables. I think the day we perceive ourselves beyond such clouts, there would be world peace and visceral love.

This is the initial email that this guy sent me. It seemed rather over the top but I was just excited to have a prospective roommate. I began to write him back then decided to try and look him up on facebook. I thought it was weird that his email was different from his name. Alan vs. Jamie. Man good thing I was suspicious.
I plan on staying in Canada for at least 3 years minimum because my work contract is for two years and I will be working for Cross Bow Technology. So I should be able to sign a year contract there is need for it.

I've also been exposed to this scammer. No, I have not sent him any money; but I made it my mission to take him down. What he is doing is absolutely sick and HE SHOULD NOT BE ABLE TO GET AWAY WITH THIS. The worst part is – this is most certainly not the only scam he conducts.

I have already started compiling a comprehensive report with all the information: email correspondence, the fraudulent cheque and the envelope, phone records, plus everything I could find online about this scam. I took this report down to the Police and they opened a file. Unfortunately, they said that there is not enough information at this point, but they could launch a proper investigation given the right circumstances.

My plan now is to collaborate with Google, Skype, Western Union, Canada Post, Craigslist and my bank in order to obtain as much information about this scammer as possible and help track him down. In the meantime, I also plan to start reporting any information I have to other agencies such as Recol, IC3, Canadian Anti-Fraud Centre.

I need you to help me. With more people and evidence, this issue will have much more weight – companies will be more willing to collaborate and law enforcement will have more reason to investigate. And most importantly, together we can aggregate the critical mass of information that will finally break him down.

LET’S PUT AN END TO THIS TOGETHER! If you have any information at all about this scam, please send me an email to stop.the.rent.scammer at gmail.com and we can go from there. ANYTHING is sufficient, even if it’s just a confirmation that you had contact with this crook. You will not regret doing your part to prevent this criminal from hurting more people.
