I received an email from Daniel Anderson, tel   447031909788  asking to rent my apartment in Milan for his son for 6 months. Thanks to this site I could understand that he was not serious. I got the cheque to my address (the amount was higher than what I expected) but I didn't deposit it .  I'm wondering whether to go to the police or not........
Anyway I didn't understand how he could get an advantage from this kind of fraud........

The Bank sent me some days later an information
that the cheque can not be cashed at all,
because it was identified as "explicit forgery"  / criminal cheque FRAUD !!!

Das Gleiche - wie offenbar schon mehreren Musiklehrern - ist auch
mir passiert Ende Februar 2012.

Ein gewisser Morgan Craig
will seinen angeblichen Sohn Daniel Craig (20 J.)
zum Erlernen eines Instrumentes (bei mir Gitarre)
für 3-4 Wochen Intensiv-Unterricht anmelden.

Trotz Bitte meinerseits per Überweisung zu zahlen, schickt er
unaufgefordert einen Check … meiner kam per Brief aus den USA.

Statt der vereinbarten Summe (270 EUR) ist der Scheck ausgestellt
auf den 10-fachen Betrag 2.700,- EUR !!!

Er schreibt dann eine Email, dass sein Banker angeblich ausversehen
den Scheck zu hoch ausgestellt hat und möchte anschliessend vereinbaren, wie
die “über-bezahlte“ Differenz von 2.430,- EUR an ihn zurück gezahlt werden kann.

Aber:
Kurz nach dem Einreichen des Verrechnungs-Schecks bei meiner Hausbank,
teilte diese mir per Briefpost mit, dass der Scheckvordruck
so die Bank wörtlich: “nicht authentisch“ und “eindeutig gefälscht“ ist !!!

am besten gleich in eure Liste der Spam-Absender ein …

I guess he might have thought he was writting to someone different.
I cut the correspondance right away, putting him in front of his lies. he didn't reply... so I guess I was right.
The fact is that they will never send this "kid" as he doesn't exist. They want you to take the check, put it in your bank account, take the rest in cashand send it to them.... And few months later, what a surprise ! Your bank will call you to announce you that the check you've given to them doesn't work or I don't know what reason they will give you so they have to get the money back (yes, I know someone who already has this problem).
