I'm so glad I looked up his phone number & his work location info in "London!"  I just started getting an email from this person yesterday 3/6/09 and I thought he kind of sounded fishy!  Here is the email (he sent me twice) he sent me!:

I didn't receive a call but the same email that the person below received about the condo we had for rent in AZ.  Thanks for the previous post - it saved us!!!!

Exact email send to me too! Watch out! Anyone has experience similar situation? Why he is doing it? For what? Please comment!!!

We got the exact same email about Dr. Mike Morgan.  No one called us from the number but it was the number in the email.  I did some research, and these videos will explain how that particular scam works:

Received the same emails.  I took my ad off since he said he was seriously interested.  When the check wasn't in the mail, I did some research and found this site.  Thank you for posting.  It's so sad that people have nothing better to do with their free time.  We lost out one week in trying to get a tenant for our place.

I got an email from this "Dr" also 4 times the last 2 days...I had a feeling its fishy good thing i checked it out.

I got the same general thing from this guy, but called a realtor friend, who typed his address into Google and got all the scam info on him.  Grateful not to have gone any further!

Received same exact email this am 9/5/09 in response to Craigslist Open House. Thanks for posting this to prevent me wasting time and effort. In addition I would have not held the open house and removed the listing from Craigslist. Internet is wonderful tool.

This character is full of [***]! We Recieved the same exact letter With a different contact number. It sounded fishy to us also, and to all other owners be on the lookout for this guy.

What was the result of your report.? Has there been any investigation going on with scam?
I too was a victim of this Dr. Mike Morgan, this was just a few days ago,
just recently I asked some indetification for verification, to this day, he has not responded.

And he is STILL trying....  now with a different name -> William Russell.  The initial letter and second letter are pretty much exactly the same as in the previous posts.

I guess he realized that people were knowing him as Dr.Morgan so he changed his name to Dr. Mike Peters!! I got the same e-mail but was about a nanny job.

I have listed my house for rent and received a few emails from him. I look up hi info and immediately found this site. Thank you to everyone that commented on here. What told me something was extremely weird about this guy is he wanted to pay rent for 1.5 months ahead of time before my place was available to rent. I don't know anyone that would do something like this.
