Hello all, for everyone that has recieved a message from this number - does the persons number appear at the start of the message?

E.g.
1900111222-some message

I received a text from my boyf in the States from this numer - I think it is a router number for peak times but I have asked him to try and check just in case one of us is being charged too much

I am in UK and I received a text with a cell number of a friend in the USA followed by a - and a k. The text was sent using the 447797806021 number. Does anyone know is this a scam...is someone receiving my outgoing texts etc etc....would like to know..quite worry-some...

I have a friend in the USA who ive known for 6 years, the other day when we were sendig text messages to each other one of them showed up in my inbox as
+447797806021 as the sender but the message had my friends mobile number folowed by a - and then the rest of the message

they are on the AT&T mobile network so it could be some kind of sms romaing center.

God damn number !!! during peak hours my @ss i send an SMS to my GF in Roamania last night (my time-> eastern time-philly) asking if everything is ok since i was waiting to talk to her(i did 5 min later- forgot about the sms), and she just received it this morning (my time). f-in ATT , it's joke !

It must be something with AT&T when the text originates in the US. I am in Paris and when my friend was here, his txts came through just fine. But this last one had this UK number, and then his number with the message. I am hoping that I am not on some stupid spam list now!

I am in Slovakia now and I have a Slovak SIM card but every time lately I send a message to my friends or family in USA the message reads back from +447797806021.  Most of these people have provider AT&T.  What is going on with this UK number????

me too, I'm in Paris, France and I end up sending texts through this number and receive them through this number, it just happened to me today. i don't know why and for me too, the real number is listed first then the message.

if we reply to that number does the person get the txt??

I keep getting text from this number with Taurus horoscopes.
does anyone know how to stop them? they arrive at random hours and two as a time as well

Same here - I'm getting texts from my girlfriend, delayed by over 12 hours from +44 7797806021

She is with AT&T in the USA and my cell is in Moscow.  It's irritating because of the delay.

It sounds like AT&T, and spammers, are using a cheap text service in the UK (+44 is UK code) for international texting.

You should all tell your AT&T friends to compain

I experienced the same issue on March 19th.  I sent an sms from the U.S. to Italy through my provider, AT&T.  The individual to whom I sent the sms received it approximately eight hours later, and the number +447797806021 appeared on his mobile's screen.  I'm planning to contact AT&T regarding this issue; it's unacceptable for this to occur.
