Same for me. I'm in Germany and got a delayed message from my boyfriend in the US last night. First time this happened to me, seems you had the problem more often?
Did anyone find out why this happened? Does it help when he ask AT&T? Also a couple of times he said he sent me a message and I never got it, maybe this also relates to this number?!
How can we stop this?

I received a message from this number and I live in Brazil, and it was signed with my friend's name, but she said she did not send me that message!

my x f..g bf broke up with his gf and started calling me first froim the private #, i couldnt understand who the hell was calling me, then he sent me some stupid text blah blah blah...but from his cell...now i got this texts from this number 4477...ive got no idea how he does it...and what the hell is that number...does anyone know????

got a txt message from the same number followed by my bf's number and i'm positive it came from my bf.

think it's an txt access number used by telecoms (either AT&T or Sprint) for clients out of the country availing roaming service.

so for those wondering if they indeed got it from friends or ex-s, hope this helps.

My texts to my girlfriend in greece are sometimes routed through this number, sometimes not.  When they are, she gets clipepd text (half the message is lost), and it gets delayed routinely hours on end.  How do we get this to stop?

Recrods indicate thsi number is licensed by Jersey Telecom, of the UK.  A call to themn revealed nothing,a s they denied knowledge oft he number, despite the fact it matches perfectly with the British numering scheme.  My take:  Either its a cloned number/phone, or Jersey Telecom of the UK is hiding something.

Is there anyone in the US who actually asked AT&T about this? My bf and I never had a problem during the last year, all messages came through in real time. Now since a couple of weeks we even have problems receiving them. Some messages get lost. For the second time, I got his message through this UK number and again delayed in the middle of the night... AT&T can't be serious using this service! Someone must tell them...

im living in Finland and just got a message through that number from my boyfriend in States. tho it's showing his real phonenumber too in the beginning of message. I thought first it's some sort of free online service, but that what Ikyo said earlier sounds about right. That for some reason message passes through some other operator's server. anyway, very weird.

i got a sms from that number and it displayed my friends number followed by a long sms with parts missing... i'm pretty sure my friend wrote it... just wonder why it would come from this number... maybe it's an international interceptor to collect calldata.... or the government screening stuff and the message gets messed up... who knows... i sent a few sms and all of a sudden that number cut inbetween...

This number 44-77-9780-6021 is the UK number generated by SKYPE when someone sends an sms to a friend using the Skype sms service.
I send sms to my boyfriend in the US using SKYPE (I'm in Australia) and he didn't recognise the number... SKYPE can't seem to send a number to the recipient's phone...

This number seems to be some kind of forwarding service for either European text messages to the USA, or vice versa.
I've been sending to a +1 cell number, and getting replies through this number here in Holland.

Strange, but seeing this many people having the same issue assures me it is probably some unexplained text-message-conversion tool.
Maybe the text/SMS service in the US differs from the rest of the world?

I keep receiving horoscope messages from this stupid number and I don't know how to stop. What I've managed to find out is that this is a Jersey Telecom number but apparently it has been passed out to another company and therefore people from Jersey Telecom cannot do anything. What is really annoying is every time I receive a text from this number it charges me. How do I stop this bastard????
