just received an sms from a friend in canada.  didn't check the number until i had sent a response only to realize that it came from this number i.e. +447797806021. was actually upset and had to forward the message to my friend's actual number later. whatever company is responsible for this useless stuff must wise-up.  why do you show your number as the 'sending party' when you could have just replace it with the 'actual sender's' number? after all, you got paid for the service - the least you could do was to ensure that your customers receive value for their businesses placed with you.

I got a message from this number....Im pretty sure he used an online program to send me a text, because his regular cell doesn't do it.

Came from an unidentified source asking me if I use Skype. Seems like SPAM.

I just got an SMS from a colleague who sent it using Skype.  I expect Skype is using some UK based company to send out messages.  The reason your sender's name/number doesn't show up is that sent a PC to phone SMS rather than phone to phone.

I received a sms message from this number ++447797806021 saying Dear credit union customer, we regret to inform you that we had to lock your bank account access. call 720-864-1213 to restore your bank account. When I called the number it says that you for calling press 1 to restore your account or press 2 to disconnect the call. Once you hit the 1 to restore your account it says please enter your credit card information.

I got a text from this number that said "Dear resource one C.U. Customer. We regret to inform you that your bank account has been placed on hold." WTF

I got t-mobile (usa) and received meaningless sms from this number +447797806021 that goes " B 5 A B"

I think it is a Skype sms number
sms yourself from skype and see what happens

I also received the text regarding the credit union customer.. etc. I didn't call the phone number.. but I was wondering what all it asked for to restart your account?  Just your credit card info??

I received 3 sms from this number too =/ I found it so wierd, but the sms said a mobile number and it was my friends number who is in uruguay. However just the number was shown... nothing else. I dont understand why this is happening...

my mum sent me messages from zimbabwe and all i recieve is these empty texts wiv this number.....can i retrieve ma texts?

Ilive in Bahrain, but my family is back home in the States.All sms messages I get are from this same number, inside the message it gives the correct number and the message sent to me.

It seems this is only a "dummy" number for oversea's sms messages, as when you send a sms like making a call it goes through the other carriers to locate the reciever.
