call ask if i want to combine my credit card debt, robo call

They called but we didn't answer because we didn't recognize this number. Cold call for business? No way!

these spammers called this morning. I picked up and I immediately hung up

anyone that has to cold call or robo call for business is probably
not a competent company.  what does it mean to be on the
"DO NOT CALL" list?  does it even exist anymore?

Got a voice mail from this company.  Trying to sell carpet cleaning.  Reported to donotcall.gov (which seems to be a joke at this point).

Robo call with no option to remove from call list.  The should make available the name of the company when you look up a phone number.  This would enable me, and hopefully others, to avoid doing business with them or their associates. It may be more effective than the Do Not Call List.

Missed call

Recorded message offered carpet cleaning special and said to press 1 to make an appointment. I pressed 1 and a woman answered with, "Carpet Care, how can I help you?" I told her I was on the Do Not Call list and she immediately replied, "Have a nice day" and hung up before I could finish.

Their message as transcribed by vonage voice mail:

"All our cleaning process is fast drying and one hundred percent safe for kids or animals and we also clean upholstery area rugs drapery and tile floors because you've been kind enough to listen to my message I'll clean the hallway for free. I just want a chance to add you to a growing list of satisfied customers who appreciate good service and a great price. Please press one to make an appointment."
