Citi Financil for mortgage

from time to time I receive prank calls from this number. The caller claims to be from citi financial. I.Ds himself as Michael Fairbanks. His scam at first is that I am past due on my mortgage. Then he tries to sell me a house which he claims I once owed and now owned by his company.

The individual is either a scammer or a very ignorent and uniformed collector.

I received a call on 02/19/2010 at 9:19 AM PST regarding a Po'Connor that has no relationship to my phone number. I tried to explain to the person who called that this number is not associated with that person. The person who called refused to accept this explanation and stated on my recorded they would continue to call. This is harassment.........

guy gave me a 800 number -Citi bank for mortgage - i don't have one...

This is a call from Citibank - it's probably a main number and could be from any department. I received this call referencing my Citibank credit card. I didn't give out anything personal, but pretty sure it's legit.  Not a big deal, although first time they called it was an automated system asking me to hold, which I don't do (my time is valuable, also). They called back the next business day with a live person, yet it did take a couple of "hello's" to get a response.  (Ph# 469-220-0407 has a Dallas/Ft Worth TX area code)

Don't know who this is but they have called a couple times, first time no one answered so today I did not answer hoping they would leave a message if they want to contact me personally about something but no message left

Called my cell phone didn't leave a message but continues to call.  I don't have anything to do with these jokers.

I received a call from this number, and it was legit.  I had requested a loan modification from CitiMortgage and this was the number showing on my caller ID when the respresentative called me back.  I had missed the call, but he left his name, direct number, and extention.

This is legit. If you need help with your mortgage they have been very helpful. Iwas afraid of forecloseure but they helped me with options.

This number is automated caller to have you hold for one of there collection people. Sometimes it just leaves a message for you to call Citi Financial.
