Caller ID: Informed Elector; no message=scammer

called 2 times  unwanted

Informed Elector (per Caller ID)  phoned and the caller asked if I would answer a simple question "Yes or No"...I asked if it was "political" and the he abruptly hung up. 469-701-0053

Gathering political info ....scam

Received call from the above number wanting to do a survey. I hung up.

469-701-0053, apparently a partisan call, masquerading
as an innocent survey.  Even worse, they were asking
for consent for future calls, probably like today's call
during a weekend, and other inconvenient times.

This seems to be yet another scheme of the Democrats
who are out of control, desperate to put the blame
on everybody else but themselves, for what essentially
has been a complete multi-level collapse during the
last election, not just at the presidential level,
but in state legislatures, governorships, etc.
Rather that facing up to the task of cleaning up
their party of all the corruption which became
public through Wikileaks, now they have put their
energies in an effort to delegitimize Trump's victory
through unsubstantiated ridiculous claims of Russian
hacking.

I told them the truth: I hesitantly voted for Stein,
and I intend to vote for Trump next time, although
I think his domestic policies policies are cruel, such
as cutting social spending and deporting immigrants.
He seems to be our best hope for getting out of the
corruption that is suffocating our democracy.

Received this call on 1/16/17. No msg from Informed Electo

Call from 469-701-0053    Man asked if I would answer a survey. I said "no" and he said it's only one question.  Question was:  Did I vote in the Presidential Election?  I gave an answer then he immediately said "Would I mind if he called me every month with one question" and I so
"no" as I get too many stupid calls for surveys, money, etc. and I hung up.

Just one question !  Permission to call again!   Then request for money.  Don't think can blame Democrats. Have no proof!

Received a call from this telephone number. No message was left.

Called me at 8:23am PA time. And isn't TX an hour BEHIND?
I thought no calls like this were allowed before 9am.
(Haha-my phone is silent until 9 and now I've blocked that number )

"INFORMED ELECTORATE" claims to ask survey questions, but seeks credit and identity info. for scam and fraud.

questions about election choices

I am amazed at how many people will take the time to negatively speculate on this without taking the time to visit this organization's website.  I have had 3 calls from these folks and answered their questions.  I have yet to be asked for money, but after visiting their website I can see why they may need to do some fundraising. I have no affiliation with this company. My first encounter with them was last year during the election campaign.   Personally, I hope they keep calling as I'm happy to share my thoughts on our government policies and direction.   http://votethewill.org/faq/

Recorded message asking me to answer "with a simple yes or no to the question: Did you vote in the last election". I heard on the news a while back of a scam where the answer is recorded, then used to somehow defraud the person with false charges of some type. Can't remember the exact details.
