    Shocked
This number was from a Custom Hardwood Furniture and Lumber Salesman who got my info from a home and garden show. He is incredible crafty, no pun intended... He actually found my work number some how. I work at a professional Banking Company, imagine my surprise to see that he some how obtained my desk number and left me a voicemail. I would never work with someone that uses such shady practices to obtain clients. I don't recommend that you do either.

I received a call from a Rick Helm (sp?) at 469-713-3039.  He sounded stern and indicated that he really needed to talk to me right away.  Not sure who he is or why he'd be calling my work number?!  Before trying him back I googled the phone number.  Thank you to the other people who provided details about this caller.

This guy "Ricky" called asking for information about employees here (we are a bank).  I believe he is collecting bits of info until he has all info necessary to reach the person directly.  He is focused on one position so I believe he is a recruiter.  What a sad way to make a living.  I don't appreciate shadiness or dishonesty and would never work with anyone like that.  I don't suggest anybody else does either.

Ricky Hearn is the name i got for phone# 469-713-3039. He works for MSI (from what he said) and when I looked it up, it's a recruiting firm. He is a recruiter, specifically looking for financial advisors/bank employees to recruit. He's called before over the last couple of years, and sometimes when I've asked what the call is regarding, he has been honest and said he was a recruiter, other times he says it's a personal call.

Called my work number saying, "It's important that we speak" - I chose not to call back because he sounded like a recruiter... I just moved firms and have not interest.  Regardless, I am still curious about how he got my number.

This guy is a recruiter. He calls a general branch number, asks who your investment advisor is and for their phone number, and then immediately calls the advisor.

The message on my voicemail was, "Hello (my name).  My name is Ricky Hearn, and it is important that we speak right away!  Please call me at 469-713-3039."

This has to be a RECRUITER.  I, too, work in the world of finance, and get these types of annoying calls nearly everyday.  Every recruiter plays this game trying to sound like an urgent caller wanting to discuss business.  I leave my cell phone number on my landline for clients to contact me -- and this jerk called my cell phone (even though my outgoing message clearly states for CLIENTS ONLY!).  NOT ACCEPTABLE!  When they call my cell phone, I then record their number and mark it to go directly to voicemail without ringing!

I work for a financial firm and if he is a recruiter I would never work with him.  I did not return his call.

I received the same general, urgent message from Ricky Herne.  Thanks to this site, I tracked him down and you can see his picture right here: http://www.msi-intl.com/documents/MSI_CorpConnSpring2013.pdf

This is a shady group of recruiters if there only tactic is to call offices and leave voicemails that you should return the important call immediately.  Complete SLEAZE...and Ricky looks like a complete buffoon!

It's Ricky Hearn, not Herne.  And it's "their", not "there".  Typing faster than brain was working.  Either way, this seems to be a shady bunch.

Just received a message from "Ricky Herns"  from 469-713-3039 that said, It's important that I speak to "financial adivsor's name" right away.  I returned the call, he said he needed to speak with the FA, I said he was out of the office and before I could even finish saying "Is there something I could do for you?" he hung up on me.  Nice!

I just received a call from Ricky Herns from 469-713-3039. He asked to speak with my boss, left his name and telephone number for a call back. I asked which company he worked with and he immediately hung up on me. I believe he is targeting financial advisors.

Received a message on office voicemail at 7:56 am from a Ricky Hearn (or however his last name is spelled) for the office financial advisor.  The message was, according to Ricky, urgent in nature.  I called him back to let him know that the FA won't be in the office until later this morning.  Screening the call, I asked if there is anything I could do for him.  Ricky said there wasn't and he needed to speak to the FA (he called the FA by name).  I told him that I would relay the message and asked if the FA would know what it was in regard to.  He said, "I'm from MSI in Dallas.  We need to talk today."  I googled MSI and Ricky Hearn.  Lo and behold, I found this website!  Thank you to everyone who posted.  When Mr. Hearn calls back, I save my FA's time and let Mr. Hearn know we are not interested and that maybe he should google himself.....What a snake in the grass!
