They called and didn't leave a message. I am wondering if any one else knows who this is.

We got a call too, asking for one of my colleagues. I asked who it was.  They gave me two fake names that we didn't recognize and then said they'd give no more info about their company.  Complete, and rather foolish, hoax.

Someone called from this number for one of our associates. I offered to take a message as that person was not in the office.  The reply was that his phone is always busy so it wouldn't do any good for him to call back.  I refused to give him the direct number.

I forgot to same that the call came in around noon on 26 JUL 2013.

Called today asking for me, wanted to confirm who I was badly before they would put me on the phone with "Mike".  Refused to confirm my identity, said they were calling from Alba Limited

I just got a call from this # and a guy said he was calling for Bryan.  I said I was Bryan.  After a small pause, he said "Bryan Jacobs."  I said "I think you have the wrong number, he said he was so sorry, then hung up.  Fishing for active phone #s connected with first names to validate a list, maybe?

Called, said he is from "Zettas" or something like that. Wouldn't leave a message.

A man said he was phoning on behalf of "Karen" and would I please connect him to one of our managers.  He didn't know the purpose of the call, and I said I couldn't transfer him without that information.  He said he'd find out and return with it, but we've received a boatload of this kind of call, and these "secretaries" are never heard from again.

Here's another situation, similar to the previous one I reported:  A man with a heavy accent (forgot that last time), claiming his name was Mike Smith, wanted to connect his boss, Scott from Safenet, with one of our IT managers.  The rest is the same, except the prior caller was polite.  This one took a commanding approach, not even saying Hello, just "Direct me to your IT manager, Mr. So-and-So."  I had to question him for the remaining information.  To paraphrase Mike Myers' character, Dieter, on SNL, These people are becoming tiresome.

Got a call and they left no message

They call an never leave a message.  Won't answer unknown calls.

Got a call from this number, ask for a Dr. Rodney Armstrong associated with a specific Hospital.  Would not give any more information.

Same as most everyone else here..... they never leave messages but call every few weeks

Just got 2 calls in the past 15 minutes.  Left no message.  If they call back, I might ask them to confirm the order for 15 large pizzas they just made.  :-)

Called office phone, no message.

Received a call on my direct office phone line from this number.  Appears a man left a message but the majority was cut off, message was '...control or patrol (couldn't make out the word), thank you for your return call'.  No other information and return number to call.  

I have had over 25 callers blocked same story. They call ask for my name then hang up.
What i found on my cell phone was a bit shocking. My firewall blocked port udp 8192
which is SpyTech Phone Service, also Sophos remote management system.
So the Indian Dudes calling you are asking to confirm via voice that you have your phone, they in turn email that to their customers showing that their remote software is in fact working. Here is a link to the software Oceans Edge. This is law enforcements way of not getting a warrant. Also see the ACLU website link. Save your wifi logs and communicate with your ACLU in your region. This should be treated as a freedom of privacy class action law suit.

Get a firewall with deep packet inspection so that you can view all the traffic coming and going from your smart phone while your on your WiFi network at home.

I got a call today as described by others.  I did not answer the call; they did not leave a message.

I also (10-15 minutes before) got a call from 202-621-2089 with basically the same scenario.

No response from anyone when I answered phone. Tried to call number back. Busy, busy, busy. Just blocked them from calling again. Problem solved

Still calling..... same thing for a year now.  Tiresome
