The woman called. Didn't say her name or company that she works for. Said she has a file that has my social and license red flagged. Left a number with an ext. However when I called back to see what it was the number rang and did not give me an option to enter an extension?

This person called me today and said (This is word for word from the VM) "Yes my name is Carol Carter and I'm trying to reach maybe a neighbor or maybe even a relative of yours by the name of ..... Again my name is Carol, I'm calling from the fraud department at NARS. I've been trying to locate Ms.... but I have been unsuccessful, that's why I'm going this route and I'm calling you. If she is a neighbor of yours or a relative, please give her this message. It's imperative that she gives me a call, either her or her attorney, her social security number and driver's license number has been compromised. I can be reached at 470-238-2012 ext 318 and please let her know this is a time sensitive matter." I CALL [***]. I looked online and they are a collection agency. Isn't this against the law for them to misrepresent?
