Got call from this number and they said had a judgement against my social # from a payday loan and that charges were being filed against me for defrauding a banking instatuion . Has anyone else got this call ?

Got a call today about this, I can't tell if it's legitimate or not. He said they were with Capital recovery Systems in Lawrenceville, GA

We are dealing with a high net worth client and this is the number calling our firm claiming to the bank for this client.  They don't give bank name, they don't give return phone number, very rude, hang up.   Our phone system has reports of the numbers that call in and this was the number on our report.  We call number back and it goes into a VM that says:  "You have reached Amy West, I am not in, please leave your claim# and phone# and I will call you back"  
That is not a bank, or a bank #, who are these people???

Our business is also in Lawrenceville, we are a financial firm.  Yesterday my daughter, who works at a dental office, received a threatening call regarding a balance owed from Wachovia bank from 2009, in which Wells Fargo bought out Wachovia Bank, and knew her SS#, said if she didn't pay them 1,200 by 7:00 p.m. she was going to jail, they said they were serving her papers at 3:00 p.m. that day and wanted to confirm her address (what a joke, trying to trick her into getting current address).  Being only about 27, she flipped out and called me (Mother) and I told her it was a scam, but they scared her so bad, that she literary felt if she did not give them some money immediately from her debit card or credit card she was going to jail.  Scam, Scam, Scam

I just got a call from the same number. The reps call themselves Investigators to intimidate you. I get a call from them about once a month regarding an old payday loan. They still call even after I explained to them, each time, that I filed bankruptcy and this account was included in that. Everytime they threaten me that someone is going to serve me papers at home or work the next day or arrest me the next day but it never happens. They are just trying to scare you into making a payment immediately.  The company is a scam and it is fradulent!
