Recorded message telling me I'm currently overpaying for my auto insurance.

A recorded message telling me I'm paying too much for auto insurance.   Time: 11:23 a.m., 19 March 13

This is a Georgia number, something called the Insurance Placement Bureau, whatever that is.  

I called the number and talked with a human.  I reminded him that automated telephone calls to private numbers for business solicitation are not legal.  He did not seem to care.  I told him to block all future calls to my number.  If there are any other calls from this number, I will report it to the FCC, and I will block it on my telephones.

Told him he was a wormy [***].

Got a call on my cell from this number 3/21/13. I did not answer. No message left. Must be solicitation.

Useless call, just ad

they called my cell number which has never been listed that I know of  .... I RARELY get any telemarketing calls .... I really wonder where they got my number ... :/

just got a call from this number.  I recently switched from Verizon to Straight Talk.  Hmmm...

use the do not call registry 888-382-1222. u have to call from the phone u want to register.

You can also go to donotcall.gov and register there. I did that a couple of days ago after receiving multiple calls from this number. However, they just called me again.

Next time this number calls you, if you have some free time, describe the Batmobile and see how long it takes for them to hang up on you. Thats what I always do when I get calls from this number.

This company calls our office about 6 times a day regarding insurance and this has been going on for 3 months!. We have asked numerous times to be taken off of their calling list but they have failed to comply. They usually hang up once you ask for a supervisor or complain about the calls. My next call will be to the FCC -.
