my cell received a call from 4802378044; been calling the last 3 days with no message.

calls repeatedly,when I tried to call back phone just gives a busy signal.  I refuse to answer this number.

received a call from this lady saying she is wiht EMT Medical and it was an oversite on their part that they did not get the medical ID card out to me as was planned and if i would give her my mailing address, she would see that it got sent out today.  

I asked her who she was and she would not give me her name but said she was with EMT MEDICAL and they are gathering data nation wide that they can provide if there is a medical emergency.  The conversation continued to be vage and as i tried to pin her down, she got frustrated.  i told her to remove my name and phone number from her call list and hung up.

This number calls my elderly grandfathers house as least 4-5 times per day.  Same as the previous posters says there was an oversight and they did send out his medical card. So they are gathering information for our locality to get the card sent out immediately.   I said that he would not be interested and asked that the number be removed from the list.  The caller then asked if I was familiar with their service.  I said I was not and did not care to be.  He then said how can you refuse this service if you are not familiar with it.  So I said I can refuse anything I want to and asked that the number be removed again.  He then very sarcastically said "You have yourself a real nice day." and hung up.  Still continues to call 4-5 times per day.  Has scam written all over it.

someone is calling me from this number and on the caller Id it says EMT Medical

480-237-8044 is one of several unlisted landline numbers located in Phoenix, AZ.   The spoofed caller ID will show "EMT Medical".   THIS COMPANY IS CURRENTLY TARGETING SENIOR CITIZENS IN WESTERN OHIO, SELLING A MEDICAL CARD OR POSING AS A LOCAL AMBULANCE SERVICE, SELL A 'SUBSCRIPTION' FOR APPROXIMATELY $200.

If you are contacted by them, DO NOT GIVE OUT ANY INFORMATION.  Their actions are illegal!   Contact your local law enforcement agency and report the incident.

they are calling me now!

young man called said he needed information on me for an ambulance card. I refused. 4/15/2010.its a scam.

Someone called my house from this number, my son took the call and they wanted him to verify info so he could claim his lottery winnings. a scam!!!!! plus they called for me earlier in the day for emt card info.

this is just one of MANY scam calls my cell phone has been getting lately.
has anyone else got a call saying you've received a free gym membership?
