This company "EPS Merchant" is a hot bed of con artists! The company is owned by a Sandy Wigdore.....who is the wife of Jay Wigdore, a federal felon who is currently on federal probation for the largest bank fraud case in Arizona history! Sandy Wigdore is on paper only...... Jay runs the company and makes all of the financial decisions. It appears he has put another partner named Richard between himself and the public. It turns out that this partner, Richard is from Bank Card Empire which was just busted by the feds for a $78 million dollar fraud scam!!! I don't have the energy to continue to peel the layers back any longer but I wasn't surprised to see that they are covertly operating a "BIZ OP" that mirrors the one perpetrated by Bank Card Empire. **** These guys are BAD NEWS ****

These people are trying to sell me a credit card account for my new business. They said the brand new (however, it's been sitting in the box for over 2 years) Nurit 8320 terminal that i own is "outdated"--something about needing the latest pci coding...--and they want me to get a "newer" machine from them (same Nurit 8320 model) for $34.99 a month--for 48 months. Wow. On top of this, they want me to SEND them my old one (which I OWN)...?

Supposedly their rates are $10/mo. flat rate, no contract. Plus 1.79% retail credit cards and $0.25 flat fee for all debit cards with pin entered by customer. If pin not used (run debit card as a credit card) then it is 1.49%.

Anyone know if i'm being taken for a ride here?? Thanks in advance...my store's not even open yet...

YES!!!!!! You are being taken for a ride...our fees with our business started out at 8.95 (dollars) a month,
then the month of August it jumped to 79.95 a month and now it is 85.00, and the best part is that you can not contact them....try this number and see the kind of service you receive...480-275-2444...this is a scam and I am going to report them to the fraud division of the FBI.  This company is very experienced in fraud because they do an ACH form of payment from your bank account, but, not on the same day of each month....this way you can not do a stop payment ..... because you never know when they are going to deduct the money...Don't do business with them.......

I use to work for these people. I can honeslty say they are SCAMMERS. They will take your money and you will never be told why. You need to understand that we are told to put you off when you call. We will take message after message but you will never get a call back. You are going to be told to speak with a JOHN who handles these issues but he wont return your call cause he doesnt know what to tell you. JAY and RICHARD are the ones that are taking your calls. Best way to get someone on the phone is lie!!! Tell them you were returning a call about setting up a new merchant account. BUT you must say you want to talk to JAY he is the one that can do anything, but keep in mind that he will promise to check into it and you will be back at start. DONT getoff till you get something from them. A call on three-way or something faxed over to you in writing. Im so sorry for all that is being taken for, I wish I could of done something to help but if you have any ANY questions I might be able to help

Multi-Million Dollar Auto Scam Victimized At Least Five CUs

by Ed Roberts, Washington Bureau Chief | February, 2003 | 0 Comments

More than a dozen used car salesmen and managers were arrested by federal authorities and charged with a multi-million-dollar fraud scheme that targeted American Indians and victimized lenders, including at least five area credit unions.

Authorities charged the employees, who all worked at now-defunct Florek Motors Inc., with using a variety of schemes to defraud members of the Hopi and Navajo Indian tribes, 15 auto lenders, two automotive warranty companies and wholesale auctions, out of as much as $15 million.

"This is the largest case of its nature in Arizona on file," said assistant U.S. Attorney Mark Aspey, who is prosecuting the case.

Among those charged are Jay Wigdore, 43, and Steven Florentino, 48, who bought the dealership from its founder and...

.The wife of a man implicated in a raid on the Joe Florek Volkswagen Audi dealership could be denied a new liquor license Tuesday.

The Flagstaff Police Department, Arizona Department of Liquor Control and the city sales tax department are recommending the Flagstaff City Council not endorse Sandra Wigdore's application for a new liquor license for Famous Sam's restaurant.

Wigdore is the wife of Jay Wigdore, a co-owner of the Volkswagen Audi dealership who was arrested following an FBI raid on the business in October. Jay Wigdore is in prison in California for a probation violation. He was convicted in California for odometer fraud.

According to an affidavit, the FBI conducted the raid because they suspected the business was involved in illegal activity. The dealership has since closed, but no indictments have been handed down against Wigdore or any other employees of the auto dealership as a result of the FBI raid.

Jay Wigdore's involvement in the Volkswagen Audi dealership has only a tenuous connection to the Arizona Liquor Department's recommendation that the city deny the application.

Danny Thomas, northern Arizona agent for the department, said Sandra Wigdore's application comes during an investigation by his department into the possibility that her husband and Steve Fiorentino, a Florek co-owner, were unreported owners in the restaurant.

"My belief is Jay Wigdore and Steve Fiorentino had better than a 9 percent ownership, and one of the reasons they didn't disclose Jay Wigdore is that he had a felony conviction," Thomas said. "(The state) doesn't require anybody who owns less than 10 percent of a business or corporation to be disclosed on a liquor license."

The license for Famous Sam's is

in the name of Douglas Bennett.

Thomas said he believes that Sandra Wigdore has already paid Bennett half the money needed for his share in the business and issued a promissory note saying she would pay the rest after the new liquor license was obtained. Thomas also said he believes the money came from Jay Wigdore.

"Basically, she paid money to buy into the ownership already and put the cart before the horse," he said. "It appears that part of the money she used was from Jay."

The report from the Flagstaff Police Department said Thomas' recommendation for denial was based on "the applicant's credibility and reliability." But Thomas said it's more a problem with Wigdore's timing than her marriage.

"We're going on the fact that 'capable and reliable' sounds worse than it really is," Thomas said. "We're just alleging that whole mess down there needs to be ironed out."

Continued Thomas: "She won't have any part in this other than the fact that she was the spouse of Jay Wigdore. I don't think Sandra, in herself, is a bad person. I think the way the thing came down is that she put the cart before the horse and I've been up front and told her that."

The city's taxation department is recommending denial because Sandra Wigdore has failed to apply for her sales tax license. The city also said the business hasn't paid taxes, penalties and interest this year.

Neither Sandra Wigdore nor Bennett could be reached for comment.

The FBI suspected Jay Wigdore and others at the Volkswagen Audi dealership of crimes, such as rolling back odometers on vehicles; selling salvaged vehicles as good, used ones; forging signatures and Social Security numbers; and falsifying auto loan applications and sales contracts.

Wigdore admitted to violating his probation when he traveled outside Arizona several times without notifying the proper authorities. He began a nine-month prison term for the violation in January.

The City Council doesn't give final approval for the licensee. Instead, it sends its recommendation to the State Liquor Board in Phoenix, which will make the final decision about whether to issue the license.

The council will make its recommendation at its meeting at 6 p.m. Tuesday at City Hall, 211 W. Aspen Ave. The council will review its agenda at a work session at 4 p.m. Monday at City Hall.

First of all Mike Stewart didn't write this. Somebody is hiding and using our friends name and business partner to slam us . He was a business partner at the time this was written and still a good friend. You have no idea what the truth is, any of you do. Before you slam someone because of whatever reasons, get your facts straight first. What comes around......
