This number keeps calling and not saying anything.  When I call it back a rude young girl answers and says not to call her again, and hangs up on me.

I too, have been receiving calls from 480-318-7208, at all hours. Even during times telemarketers are not supposed to call. I tried to use number blocking, provided by my phone company, and received a message telling me this number is not able to be blocked, which told me somehow this was non-profit and/or government(public service message mandated by the government) related. So, based on the other postings, I answered a call from this number just a few moments ago. As I live in the 480 exchange area, and the call rings in as an out-of-state number(long distance), that told me it is coming through a virtual call center, based in Arizona/480 area code. Because previous postings, both at this site and others, have stated there is no one there, that told me the caller is using an auto-dialer, so I waited until someone came on the line. I let the young lady, "Kelley", identify herself and the purpose of her call. This particular call was regarding our local electric companies, APS and SRP, and their "green program". I politely interrupted "Kelley" and told her our number is both a non-published number and on the FTC's "Do Not Call" list, and to please remove our number from their list. I thanked her as she was trying to continue the conversation and hung up. So, while this was a call made on behalf of a utility company's "green program", I suspect that is just one of many of this telemarketing clients. And since the calls are routed through a "virtual call center"(read they are working from their home most likely)and are not traceable, there probably is really not much any of us can do about receiving calls from this number.

We have multiple lines in our office and each line gets 3-4 calls a day from this number.  No one is ever on the line.  Very annoying.

What you can do is call pager# 602-450-3691 that is Adair Plumbing.  This is who is behind the irritating phone calls.  They told me they would take me off the list but they did not so I am giving out their number.  That pager calls their maintenance number which is 623-764-3278.  If you call him you get a very irritated guy who says he is customer service rep.  He says he will take your number out. (Bull!) Every time I get a call from them I will call their emergency maint number as retaliation. Don't know what else to do at this point.  If everyone does it maybe they will quit.

I get calls from 480-318-7208, and I live in the Phoenix metro area.  They always come through at 5:30pm, sometimes twice, then never leave a message.

I called them back a few times without luck.  Busy for a half hour, then someone who doesn't know anything, then more calls.

Can anyone stop this?  I know someone can stop that machine on that number...like keeping a Stargate open.  We get a dialer program to call it and keep it open, and if a lot of people do this, wouldn't it run out of ports?

You're barking up the wrong tree when you call and ID yourself to people like that...you probably got put on more lists.

I just received the same phone call. i answered and it was a telemarketer for as they say "calling for APS AND other other electric companies in the Phoenix area. we want to save you money on your bill". thats all i allowed them to say. i told them to take me off their calling list. the guy said ok, you are off the list. 15 minutes later i got another call from them. i told them never to call back for i will talk to their manager. if they call back again, we will have problems. if APS wants to save me money, then APS can call me.

I just got another call from them. I have asked them 5 times to stop calling the house. This time the caller became combative with me and started telling me off for not being a part of the solution and that I was destroying the planet. He was completely out of line and would not agree to remove my number. I guess we can start calling SRP and complaining to them.

OMG!! I get a call from this number every night after 6pm! I answer and they hang up on me! I call the number back and it says it a Verizon Wireless number that is no longer in service? Is there anyway to find out exactly who is calling us?!

This number calls twice a night. When I call back it says the Verizon wireless customer is no longer in service. Annoying.

Thank you for all of your information.. I found all of your posting very informative. I was wanting to know who calls me all hours of the day,and night!! ( every hour it seems..) Our phone number is non published as well, and on the DO NOT CALL list.
They never leave message's on my machine, and when I answer there is nobody on the other line. I have also tried calling back the number to get to the bottom of these annoying phone calls. I will have to take 'Jas' advice and remain on the line to see if I ask them to remove my number if that will help??

Its Adair Solar calling to 'not to sell you a thing'.  They keep calling despite repeated request to stop calling.  Were on a do not cal list,,I've filed complaints...but they still keep calling...maybe we should go down to the phone room and have a face to face talk.....

ok, I have same problem. use *57 as harassing calls, after 5 times the phone company will get involved. It costs like $1.25 each time but worth it as they get their [***] in trouble for making harassing calls.

When I called back, I get this message "the verizon customer you called is not available at this time".

i am also receiving calls from 480-318-7208 but no one ever says anything when i pick up. They call at least 4 times per day and it is really annoying. when i call the number back i get the message "the verizon customer you called is not available at this time."

I just started getting calls from this number 480-318-7208, they call me about noon everyday now..no one answers when I say hello, just makes these annoying clicking noises at me. Did not try to call back and from the luck you all have had I wont bother trying.

I keep getting phone calls from 480-318-7208 now that I have numbers I will call  and ask to stop if they dont well I will buy an air horn when they answer I will give them a toot 5 or 6 times a day until it stops sooooooooooo either the calls will stop or they will go DEAF  I will leave it up to them!!

I keep getting these calls as well....What I did is register at http://www.donotcall.gov. Then filed a complaint....Give them the specific information. They stopped calling ...If this company gets a lot of complaints, they are going to come in the form of fines!!!!!!! I bet when they get fined they will stop calling
