I kept getting calls from them about a year ago and told them I had found a school. They are now calling me again.

This started as a response that I qualified for a GRANT. 24 hours after I politely told a woman that I preferred mail, not phone calls. Now I don't even think it is legit whatsoever and it is bordering on harassment. 5 calls in 24 hours? How are you supposed to sign up for classes without information. I feel like a [***] whose number got passed around from being written on a bathroom wall. I told them to stop calling but they don't care.

I originally requested information from these people, and now I am no longer interested and have told several different reps to STOP CALLING ME and they continue to do so using up all my pre-paid cell phone minutes.   Please STOP CALLING ME!

I signed up to receive information from South University about 2 years ago thinking that I would receive info through the mail, yet all I've gotten is numerous, annoying phone calls and a few emails begging me to come to their school.  I've told them serveral times that I am no longer intersted in their school but they keep calling. I don't even answer their calls anymore and I've noticed in recent months that they call from different numbers within the same area code but never leave a message.  Like another poster said, I almost feel like I'm being harassed.  I actually had a rep get angry with me because I told them that I was not interested in attending their school ( and I was not rude about it).  I have never received this many phone calls from any place of business.  I wish there was a way I could get my name taken off their list

I've NEVER heard of the place (if it is South University) until I researched recently to see who the "Missed Call" numbers were on my cell phone. I also NEVER requested any info from them. My cell phone number has been on the Do Not Call list since December 2009 and I've had the same number since 2003.

I have not inquired about an on-line college.  This college illegally contacted me because I'm on the "no-call" listing for Indiana. I didn't answer the call, but the number came from Phoenix,AZ.

Yes, it's South University.  I requested information and received a bunch of annoying calls even though I specifically asked the rep to contact me via email.  I was passed around to multiple admissions representatives who became progressively annoying.  I had to get snippy with the last one in order to get her off the telephone.  My baby was crying in the background and she continued her sales pitch even though I told her that I had to go several times.  I guess they are at it again.  Thank goodness my new phone has a "block" feature.  Check into it!  If your telephone does not have this feature perhaps your telephone company can block the number for you.

South University is apart of CareerFinder since both seem to call me every single day! If you signed up on a website in regards to finding employment, they more than likely took the time to talk to you about education and now are going to contact you every single day until you have probably signed up with there services or help which is extremely annoying... I emailed careerfinder @ an email that has request in the front .. it's suppose to be a stop calling email list which is odd you have to go to that extent but I emailed them hopefully it'll make them stop if not... I have another method I am taking but its sad they know no end to there calls.

I just got a call from this number.  I changed my number a couple of months ago and now I am getting lots of calls for the person than had this number before.  I put it on the do not call.  They are not even decent enough to leave a message.

yep, south university.  i requested not to be contacted by phone, and yet i get 2 calls per day from them, and have every day for the last 4 months.

Its southern university. I get several calls from them everyday, it is sooooo damn annoying.  They finally left a message telling me to call them.  I have repeatedly told them to not call me and they continue to do so.

Just got off the phone with someone in there para legal department. OMG these people are annoying as hell. They called me 12 times on September 30th with about 1, 2 minutes before calling back. This must be another looser telemarketing company contracted to handle phone calls. But this is really crazy, Everyday? More then 10 x each day, But today it was 12 times under  12 minutes. They must be going for a new record. I'd say grab a lawyer. But I am in California. The laws are different here to most states so, I know I am well within my rights.

I am tired of receiving calls from this number 480-327-1300 can you or anything be done?

Man who said he was with "South University" called with an improbable scenario. He said that someone nearby needed access to a piece of our office equipment to complete a business process with their institution. The details he provided did not ring true, as he was stumbling over his words. This is a either a phishing scam or a telemarketer.

They dont stop calling even if you ask them to- I think the government needs to do some looking into the practices of South University
