- SBThis is a creditor calling. They are nice when you first answer the phone and then they get rude and nasty. Using the number like that makes it look like a local number instead of a 1-800 etc. Be careful. They called my work number and when they couldn't get a hold of me called a random number close to mine to get a co-worker to transfer the call to my phone. The call was screened thru my reception area. They told reception that it was a personal call about my house. Reception told them that no personal calls were allowed at work. They got angry and hung up on her when she tried to take a message.

another easy solution is change your number - MicheleCalled looking for a neighbor. The problem is I don't live at that address any longer and the person they are looking for moved into the house after I moved out of mine. She was acting very sneaky and would not answer my questions directly. So I told them I did not know the person but if it is who I think it is they moved away to Colorado.
- military momTina called asking for my military son but would not give any info about why she was calling. I did get her to give me the area code for the home number she was calling but it was nothing like our sons. If they call again, I will report it to our state attorney general's office!

- WI asked who it was, and she said "Natalie Young", and she asked for my address. I told her I don't know who she is, and she would only give me her name so I hung up on her. I don't give out my info to someone I don't know.
- Caller: Who knows?
- AnonymousUnited Recovery Service extremely RUDE and would not tell me anything about the reason for their call unless I give them my first born and a DNA sample. So my Block Caller was turned on to this number so they will be disconnected each time they call.

This number started calling my husband's number back in November of last year. They called only twice in November then once in January 2020. However, in March 2020, the frequency of calls increased significantly: they started calling at least once a day, but some days they'd call 3 or 4 times!! The calls happen at random times...sometimes it can be as early as 6am or as late as 8pm. It is a MAJOR nuisance, & my husband says he knows the number by heart simply because they call every single day. Today [for the first time] we FINALLY answered their call...it was an automated/prerecorded message, & it asked for me by the last name I used during my 1st marriage, which was years ago (*NOTE: The last time I used that last name was back in 2017). Then the message said, "if you are this person & wish to speak to a live representative, press 1; if you are not this person & wish to speak to a representative, press 2." My husband pressed #2, then the message just said, "goodbye," & hung up on him. Lastly, if the caller is in fact United Recovery Solutions, as I've seen from many comments from multiple sources, I have heard from them before regarding a water bill for my old house, but, although I was the homeowner, the bill was in my mother-in-law's name, so they had no business contacting me anyways. The whole thing is an awful lot of trouble to go through for a 4 year old $40 final water bill. It's even creepier that the number that they keep calling is my husband's TextNow number that he has NEVER used for anything...how they associated me AND my old married name to my current husband's unused TextNow number I'll never figure out.- Caller: United Recovery Solutions [?]

As you perfectly well know the registry does not cover debt collection calls. That was clearly explained to you when you signed up.Quote:**NOTE: The number they called is on the Do Not Call Registery**
Well, as the homeowner you most likely owe the bill. Depending on how the bill is classified, which would be either a bill or a tax (and most water/sewer bills are classified as a tax) then the the FDCPA might or might not apply.Quote:regarding a water bill for my old house, but, although I was the homeowner,
