    don't answer or call back , if you do , your phone is alive , then they will sell to another scam phone then you end up ton of scam phone. we can not do anything about this, register or complaint don't do any good unless congress outlaw these people( Phone marketer)then we be ok

    good ole ABODE AIR, still ripping off consumers with their shotty work, and bogus contracts!  They will CON YOU, into big long term contracts, and they charge RIDICULOUS PRICES for their lousy service & parts!  their phone number is 1-480-379-1000. I'm sure that the 480-379-1002 is the same company. I don't know why the BBB has their eyes closed to these people! They continue to con people, and NOBODY SEEMS TO DO ANYTHING ABOUT IT! If I had the funds to get a good lawyer, I would sue them! But on my measly pension, my hands are tied!

    Ived recieved early am phone calls prior to 8am and after 7 and 8PM from this number and already told them Im not a home owner and not interested in their service and they just keep calling and never leave a message. The number is always the same : 480-379-1002

    Received a phone call from 480-379-1002 and the person, Tyrone was extremely rude when I asked who was calling. I said DO NOT CALL ME AGAIN. Tyrone flipped out and called me *drum roll* racist.
    Go figure I am racist for asking to not receive calls from some scam company that I didn't ask to receive.
    Is their an effective way to take numbers off lists?

    I have asked these guys several times for the last year not to call and they call atleast 5x a week and wake me up at times since they call in the afternoon, night, and morning and unfortunately my schedule is random as a student doctor so the calls are disturbing.

    try calling the FTC at 1-877-382-4357 or the Az Attorney General at 602-542-5763
    Since the BBB has 84 filed complaints and Adobe/Abode Air Cond is still a member the BBB is of no use.

    They now have multiple names and the management does not care if you are on the do not call list.  Keep complaining to the government agencies.

    We told these morons to stop calling and they don't care. We are on the National Do Not Call List.
    They are rude and refused to put the manager on the line. We called them back last night and asked them how they like being bothered.

    I've been getting calls from this number several times a week and finally decided to pick up, no one answered. So I called them back a few times it just rang and rang. I called their main office number 480-379-1000. The woman who picked up was pretty nice, I told her that I had been getting called from their 1002 number and she said that was their marketing department, she apologized and said she would remove me. I didn't really have to complain at all, guess she knew. Try that if it doesn't work then just ignore them when they call.

    Adobe Air came out and sold my landlord a contract for $1500 for 10 year maintenance on the a/c unit.  It included priority service, reduced cost on parts and labor, among other things.  I had them out on a Friday at which time the contract was purchased and the tech did the first service on the unit.  Well, on Monday I called them back out because the unit was doing the same thing that they had been out called on.   The initial reason for calling them out was that the temperature wasn't holding.  if I set the temp. at 70 degrees, it would run and run until it was 69 degrees and below.

    Adobe Air told me they had done a complete system maintenance on Friday before they left.  All weekend it continued to have the original problem, so I called them Monday to come back to fix it.  The tech said that he needed to add freon and do something else that should have been done on the first service call but wasn't.  I was shocked when the tech handed me a bill for $250.00 for something that should have been done three days earlier.

    I argued with the tech and he said he wasn't leaving without payment.  He was very intimidating and rude.  I paid the bill to get him out of the house (should have call police) but figured I would be able to have the home owner get the money back from the company since this was a clear cut case.  

    Well, they don't answer return calls unless they think they are going to make a buck.  The owner or manager would never return a call.  I feel bad for the home owners and I'm going to do what I can to help them get the money back.  

    I've decided to contact the Arizona Registrar of Contractors because they must by law guarantee their work for two years and they have a $2000 bond with them which will pay if they are found to be in the wrong.  I am also going to make a complaint to the BBB.  If I have to make a complaint to the contractor licensing board, I will.  I will go all the way to the County Attorney's office if these things don't work.  

    And about the phone calls....

    Keep a log of their calls, the time, date and phone number from caller i.d.
    Use call trace on your phone line.  Call your phone company or check on their website for dealing with harassing phone calls.  This usually has to be set up in advance.  There is a small fee to use this service but if you want to get this company fined for harassing you, it's worth it.

    After they call you the next time, pick up the phone.  Then hang up and dial star 57.  
    After you dial *57, the call is traced by your phone company.  But still keep the phone log.   With my phone company, they only need me to get three *57 call traces to impose a fine the telemarketer.   But check your phone company for their particular rules on call tracing.

    I followed this advice calling the 480-379-1000 number. A man answered and said yes, he had the power to remove people from the list and took my number. He expressed sympathy and was very courteous.

    ugh... yea...right.... No.... I am also on the national do not call list and it's useless....I finally disconnected my home phone because of this. Now what to do about the cell?

    I have been getting them for the last 6 months! I have asked politely to have me "Removed", and yes the first time the man was nice and said he would. However,STILL getting the calls....today I was on hold for 4 minutes and the gentleman, "Jason" said he's just a dispatcher and can only relay the message to the telemarketers! When asking why this company has so much bad rap for this and why can't he just get me a manager because I've had it with this, he got mad at me and hung up. I called back, waited another 3 minutes and talked to Issac and simply asked to be removed and left it at that. Today I have learned about All these different web-blogs and I CANNOT for the life of me understand how this has continued SO Long! Since 2007 there have so many complaints!  Its TIME we all ban together to STOP this company from their harassing marketing technique. I'm quite sure Channel 3, Channel 5 and Terry Goddard would chime in if there was a law suit filed against the BBB, the City  of Phoenix and the ADOBE AIR INC. Stop worrying about Lawyers fees, someone will do it pro-bono if there is a case I can assure you. Reply to this blog and let's get going on it.
