I got the same call and no name of the company and no message either...

I got a call from this number at work.. NICKO was trying to reach my VP/GM.  Little does NICKO know that I've been with this company for 17 yrs and just because I answered the phone. ... I was treated as if I was just a "front desk help" with the tone he used.  He stated the company is CPN which I think is some IT RAG MAG... don't really care but he was rude and If he ever calls me again.... he will rue day.

my name is nicko and i got  this call from this number as well. Did they identify themselves as my name to you? If so, I am contacting FCC and a attorney for impersonating me. I am not a collector or telemarketer. I have put up with enough of the calls from this group. I will get the best of them on this one.

I keep getting calls from this number but no one answers when i do. They hang up.  If you call back you just stay on hold... All agents are helping other callers etc etc. These calls need to stop!

This company calls every single day, they've always just hung up upon answering. Got a hold of somebody yesterday, told them to never call again, then they called again today. If anyone knows the location of this company I would love to find out.

After hundreds of calls from this number, I answered. They use an auto-dialer so there is a lag between the time you answer and the time they start talking (that's why people think they hang up). The company is CPN. That stands for Capitol Processing Network. They process credit card transactions for small business. I basically asked question after question about every line the guy gave me until he HUNG UP ON ME! HA!

What does that mean?

The merchant account has actually been identified as potentially low-risk, low-risk meaning that you would be experiencing a large amount of chargebacks or fraudulent activity.  Would you say that is accurate?
No, I would not.

Ok. So do you process credit cards for payment at all or no?
Yes, I do.

Ok. But you’re getting a large amount of chargebacks?
No, I’m not.

Oh, ok. Well, that’s what we have found out from Dun & Bradstreet as well.
Whom did they identify as my merchant provider?

I don’t’ have that information, sir.
Well, then, how do you know?

Because other people have given me the lead for that.
What other people, for example?

Local researchers.
And who are they? Can you identify them?

Ah, well I know we have a senior account executive in the area. I don’t know who does the research.
Ok. You know what, why don’t you have that researcher give me a call because I’m really curious to find out who’s providing that kind of information about my merchant provider and to determine whether or not they have accurately identified my merchant provider.

They call everyday about our merchant account. Ha!HA! We don't do debit/credit cards. We do have caller id so now i just dont answer.

Getting the same thing!! Number calls and hangs up with nothing said. I have tried to call back but the number will no dial at all.

I've been getting calls almost every day from this number too. I have it saved in my contacts so I know who's calling. I also have it set to 'straight to voicemail' so the phone doesn't even ring! But it does show me that they called. Try it, it works! The never leave a message either.

Auto-dialer as there was silence before a lady came on and said she was with CPN. Credit card processing at low rates was what she was pitching.

Called 10 seconds after another spam call, said from "CPN"  he ignored me telling him not to call until I said F- off several times.  Report to Nat. call registry

Get hang up calls from this # almost every day.  Never say anything; never leave a message.  Extremely frustrating, as we're a dental office, & this interferes with calls from people who are truly in need of attention.  Don't have caller ID...guess time to get it!  Doesn't seem to be anything else we can do to stop these calls.  National Call Registry is a joke!
