The caller ID said 'Police Officers'. Didn't answer. No message left. After searching found recent news (http://www.bbb.org/blog/2013/10/scammers-impe ... ofed-caller-id/) about scammers spoofing numbers/caller Id's and impersonating law enforcement trying to collect bogus fines. They called my work phone which is published nowhere with my name. If it was real police I'd assume they'd call my personal number that would be published to my name. WATCH OUT FOR SCAMMERS - never give someone money who calls you

If your caller I.D. had more capacity it would have shown the entire name Police Officers of Scottsdale Association. An "association" is often made up of Police Officers both retired and active who participate in community outreach programs. I feel that considering you never even spoke to anyone; that you are unfairly judging an entity that IS trying to help the community.NO ONE at this number said that they were a law enforcement officer. How can you make such an accusation since you never SPOKE to anyone ?

         Also think about what you posted. Have you ever seen ANY law enforcement agency called "Police Officers" ??? And no..... fund-raisers do not leave messages. It is too time consuming and better to just try again later. And another thing ...law enforcement agencies do not have the funding nor manpower to waste on researching phone numbers....unless they are investigating someone.

          It is people like yourself that make legitimate fund raising extremely hard to do.
