They didn't leave a message.

I also receive a call from an odd number, it was +480956842.  I didn't answer the call and no message was left.

Got a call from this number and I answered.  It is a carpet cleaning service.  When I spoke to the reservationist, she hung up on me.

They called my cell phone (I'm on the cell phone DNC registry) and the recorded voice offered rug cleaning. I tried pressing zero to get a human, but it hung up immediately. If I find out who the carpet cleaning company is, I'm filing with the FTC and their local BBB.

Got the same call as the rest of you, it sounds like someone (like foreign nationals) is phishing for information to steal (postal address, phone number and best visit when you are not home)...Sounds like trouble!

T-Mobile logged this as a 10 minute call, but I didn't answer and I didn't talk to anyone!

I pressed 1 and talked to the receptionist. I asked her to take my number off of the call list and asked how she obtained my number. At that point she said she would get her supervisor and then hung up on me.

They hung up as I answered. T-Mobile Cell: msg said carpet cleaning service & press 1 toget person .... why is this carried over to missed call message.
Used reverse ph Directory check the 480-956-842 checking last digit of 1 thru 9.  Nothing listed and if it was a realcarpet cleaning service they would be listed.  Agree ..likely some crook checking to see if you are there.

Just got a call from them just now, i listened through and talked to an operator, scared her i think when i told her i would 'f***ing kill her and her family if she didn't remove me from the calling list' i think she said 'I'm sorry' and hung up

It's one thing to call a house at dinner time but it's another to call a private number, which is illegal.

This could be an international call from Poland since caller ID showed +480956842 --> +48 is the country code from Poland.  Filed complaint online with FCC

When I got the call I was unable to listen to the entire call. Next time I would go along with them and make an appointment and ask for a number to call them if I had to cancel the appt. Then would call that number to verify it's the same company and THEN file a complaint with the FCC using the "real" number. If enough people schedule bogus appointments and file complaints, they will stop using this nasty method of annoying people. I have received a few calls from carpet companies in the Phoenix area or maybe it's the same company trying various tactics, so from now on I will be scheduling bogus appointments with anyone that calls me.
