I get this call from 480-999-1234 several times daily.  They just hang up when I answer.....what's the deal????

Yes they do that to me too same # 1-480-999-1234 irritating!

We have received this number from AZ as well as NY and TX. I wish they'd identify themselves.

I have received several calls from this number, but they never leave a message or answer.

Appears to be some type of SCAM.  When I called the number back, from another line, states NOT IN SERVICE.  I wish Congress would take care of these REAL issues when people are scamming people and/or bothering them, rather than some of the stupid things they waste our time with

I have also received calls from a Spanish speaking person who immediately hangs up when I answer in English.  When I call back I get the message "Lines temprarily busy"

I have been informed by the FCC to contact the US Attorney General's office regarding these calle (the number is spoofed).  I am on the do not call registry and am getting 3+ calls from this number every day.

I would like to find as many people as possible and file a class action suit against the phone companies that refuse to handle this situation, and require us to pay to block these numbers.  I'm currently of the opinion that the phone companies are deliberately permitting thses types of calls in order to charge (in my case $6) us to block them.

The same call as always---I didn't say anything when I answered and some Spanish speaking woman kept saying "Buenas diaz?".  When I spoke in English(the native language of AMERICA) she hung up on me.  How do we get rid of these people????

I get a call from this number approximately 12-15 times a day, it is really annoying especially when I have to have an uninterrupted line signal, when I transfer my sons medical instruments to the Dr. by phone signals.  Its hard to have it uninterrupted when these people beep in all the time.  I have told them not to call (in English and Spanish).  And I have found out that once you tell them "this is America, I speak English", the more that they call.

We're getting these phone calls several times a day.  Will a number block work?

Jana, I laughed when you said "the native language of AMERICA".  Seriously?  Wouldn't the native language of NORTH America be a Native American dialect?  White people were not here first, and English did originate in Europe after all.

I have been getting these annoying phone calls daily.  The person on the other end speaks spanish.  I tried blocking the call (I have call blocking capabilities, but it wouldn't allow me to block it).  I would like to find out if anyone has spoken spanish to them, to see what that have to say.  What do they want.

I get lots of calls from 1-480-999-1234  Sometimes they just listen then hang up then sometimes they go on in Spanish, this is several times a day I want to reach though the phone and choke them. I have told them many times not to call this number and they still do.  I am ready to yank my phone out, if my cell worked here at the house I would I am so tired of it.

I too am getting these calls. Same spanish speaking idiots and many times a day.  First its a spoofed number so dont waste your time trying to find out who's behind it.  

Question... are any of you using VoIP phones ?  ie  Vonnage, Sun Rocket etc ?

I AM A COMCAST VOIP CUSTOMER SO IT WAS INCLUDED IN MY SERVICE AND DID NOT EVEN REALIZE IT . ANY WAY IF YOU ARE A COMCAST CUSTOMER HIT *60 AND FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS. I'd like to know how many people are VoIP users. Dont care what service. I am wondering if its a group of hackers trying to take over a network which is possible with a weak back door such as VoIP

I get lots of calls from 1-480-999-1234. I speak Spanish so I had the opportunity to insult those people. One time I talked to the manager. He told me:" If you want to stop receiving our phone calls you have to accept a thelephone calling card we are offering to 20 people. Of course, I said NO and also told him to offer the card to his mother, to his grandmother, etc. etc.
Finally I did decide to save their telephone number on my contact list as NO, so every time I receive a call from NO I do not answer. I am really upset. Yesterday they called me 5 times.

I too have gotten a call from this number and speak spanish. They told me that i have won a phone card with 500 minutes and they asked for my address so they could send it. We hanged up and called back but the phone was out of service.

If they are offering something and want to mail it give them a phoney address.

Its costs them money to send this stuff out..especially the check scammers. They will send it overnite which costs them at least $25.00 if you get stern with them.  Enjoy

rude hoax caller

getting calls everyday from 480-999-1234. have my number on the national do not call list and have called my local phone company.  Nobody seams to be able to stop these people.  They are speaking spanish, I think, tell them to remove my number, don't call me, etc... and they keep calling.  Trying to call the National Do Not Call registry and see what happens.
