I hate to say this, but it's rather comforting to know I'm not the only one receiving these calls....up to 5 a day now. Qwest sent me to the Attorney General's office of Washington State, who sent me to the Consumer Protection Div, who sent me to the Federal Trade Commission, who sent me to their website to fill out a complaint form.
www.ftc.gov I think the phone companies need to step up and shoulder the responsibility for blocking scam calls. I know it's probably not as simple as typing in a number and pushing a "block" button, but for the money we pay them I think they owe us more than just a line from the pole to house. I know it's a bit more than that but it felt good to say it.
