Call a call from 500-500-5000 and the called id registered as PCS Phone. I'm guessing this is a Sprint number? Hope someone can find out who this is.

I got a call from the number 500-500-5000. A man's voice speaking Spanish & I understand enough to have identified 'someone' trying to explain 'something' about telephone service. The caller ID tag was SACService, which I think just identifies it as a recently added "service access code" number. When I asked what they were selling and who they wanted to talk to, the call was terminated. Sounds like a whole new way to be annoyed in our homes!

The caller ID was Personal Commser and a male called around 1:40 pm today.
I couldn't understand what they were saying and after a few seconds I hung up.
Anyone know if this is a scam and if they can use us answering the pnone some how. It was a male possibly spanish.

Got this call twice today, cuts off before I answer, it does get irritating!
I also use to get the spanish calls on my cell phone, could not figure out for the life of me unless they are fishing for phone numbers to hack into, don't know. Today Dec. 13th.

Called the past 4 evenings about 8:45 pm.  Some man speaking Spanish.  Has been told to stop calling but apparently doesn't care.  I am reporting this to the phone company and let them track them down.

I have been receiving as many as 20 calls a week from 500-500-5000..always terminates at pick up! Tonight a womans voice spoke but was  unintelligible, could have been Spanish, sounded like an overseas call, then abruptly terminated!

This number has been calling my house 3-4 times a day and lately they started calling about every 20 minutes. I can't make them stop. I shouldn't have to turn my ringer off and miss important calls because they don't speak english.

Per the Local Exchange Routing guide, the 500-500 code belongs to "CELLCO PARTNERSHIP DBA VERIZON WIRELESS". Might want to chat with them.

I received a call from this guys, they said (in spanish) that they are from "SUMINET", a "Telephone Company" from California. They told me that i was a winner on some raffle they had. I asked why they had my number and address and they said that they were working with my telephone company and this call was only to let me know that i was getting a 500 minutes phone card. They tried to get more information from me but i told them that i was not interested in their card and to stop calling. I'm bloking this number and from what they told me i think this is some kind of scam.

Received a call from 1 500-500-5000 on 02/20/08 - wasn't home - Looked up 500
area code and found it was a Service Commerce for area code.  Called AT&T they
didn't seem interested and gave me no information.  Tried callint the number
from my cell phone and was told it couldn't be dialed from a cell phone.  Didn't want to call on land line - have no long distance carrier and didn't want to pay for a call to somewhere I didn't know and be charged.

Has called on several occasions

spanish male called asking for a specific name of some one who lives here.  I told him "no spanish" and they hung up.

My number is on the Federal Trade Commission's (FTC) national Do Not Call registry.

I have received several calls from this number in the past week.  I have not answered the calls and no message is left on my voice mail.  But EACH TIME I receive a call I report it to the FTC using their online complaint format.  I provide the date and time of the call.

If more people would complain the FTC just might get the idea these calls annoy people, and they might do something about it.  It doesn't take a minute to report the calls.

I have received several calls from this number but they hand up. But today my hubby answered they talked offering a calling card. They speak spanish so thats why when i say hello they hang up.My hubby speaks very good spanish so he let them have it. He requested to be put on do not call list. Lets see if they do it.

I have recieved several calls from these idiots, and I have told them in their native language because I also speak spanish to NOT call again. Ofcourse the calls continue I have filed a complaint through the FCC, we'll see if the FCC will do their job. The men speak in spanish and I got the company name called ZUMINET w a Z not an S. I've looked it up and it's wierd some kind of other language. Anyway, the calls continue but I continue to tell them off in SPANISH, lucky me I know how to communicate with these foolish losers!
