Missed call.  I called back and  was greeted to a advertisement for vacations

2 missed calls (morning8AM/evening8PM) in one day.  Blocked my number, then called back.  Just like Chud, it was a vacation sales call.

Called at 10:58am on Nov 19, 2010. Did not answer phone, as caller ID showed it as
Vacation Tour and Travel. Reported this company to do not call list before. Evidently doesn't solve the problem. Company is located in Little Rock, Arkansas.

Same as eveyone else.
5th call this morning - they never leave a message

Remember, report them to the FCC if you have Do Not Call.   http://esupport.fcc.gov/complaints.htm.   They will inquire, and fine them if necessary.

Just so you know
1. We are calling to offer you a discounted vacation package.
2. In one way or another you have stayed or made a reservation at a Wyndham hotel or are a Wyndham Rewards member.(thus negating the Do not call list.)
3. This is not a scam but a real offer that you can save money on with a company that has been in operation for many years.
4. To be removed from our call list simply Answer the phone and ask to be taken off the list its that simple.

We are not unreasonable simply calling because your travel stay company would like to earn your return business and offer you a savings.

We are people too please treat us as such the best bet is to answer the first time

You should stop calling after the 7th or 8th time.  Please.  I shouldn't have to tell you guy to take a hint, right?

In one way or another I have NOT stayed or made a reservation at a Wyndham hotel, EVER, and I am NOT a Wyndham Rewards member.(thus NOT negating the Do not call list.)

I have provided you my personal facts, now please justify the multi-daily calls.

Automated call this morning (Saturday) at 8:45 am.  No message.  Caller ID VAC TOUR & TRAV

I called back and left a message to remove the number.

If they call again, I'll call the other number listed in 800notes.com to talk to a real person.

It's Wyndham Vacations & Resorts.......a telemarketing call.

Someone keeps calling my cell from this number. Phone never rings, just beeps missed call. Real irratating. Whats the trick to stopping this???

Same thing with me. It started a few days ago...2-3 times a day and I can never answer it fast enough to talk to anyone to ask them to stop it.

Thanks for the explanation. Yes, you are people and you don't deserve to be heaped with vitriol and rudeness.

That being said, you are obviously using an automated system to make the calls. So it seems to me that there is a way to program a limit to the amount of attempts the system will make before it ceases calling. I receive a call from your company every day. I think it is fair to assume that after the 6-7th time the phone is not answered, that the customer is not interested. I feel that the onus on being proactive lies with you, as the contacting company, in this case, rather than with me.

Everyday we have been getting a call from this number. When calling them back, I get a recording to press 1 and to leave our name and number and a sales rep will get back with us. Not happy at all with this company. It calls twice a day, but never leaves a message. Am taking this to the next level.

Is this a spoof call from an ex?

Then if you are people too (and not a mechanical calling system) LEAVE A MESSAGE !!!! Otherwise it looks like a scam. Not that I am going to call back anyway, but treat us like humans too !

I do not want calls from this company!

They called almost everyday for about 3 weeks now sometimes twice a day. Calling them back doesn't solve anything call this number and ask to be removed from the call list. 501-329-5434 I got if off another site like this while searching the number. The receptionist seemed hesitant but then rather nice.

I kept receiving calls from this number. According to the area code it shows Arkansas. I called back and it was a recoded female voice asking to leave my name and phone # and an agent will conatct me. I did not leave anything. How to stop this stuped calles?

I will never stay at a Wyndham hotel ever again.  How low down can a company be to invade your privacy to try to sell you something and, to top it off, they use automated dialing.  This kind of garbage was made illegal years ago, but apparently some scum companies did not keep up with the times.  Stay away from Wyndham Hotels.

Start talking in a foreign language...They stop calling then...
