Robocall claiming to be "An important message from Life Alert." When I spoke with an operator, I informed him that their robocall is illegal and the next time they call, they won't like it. He confirmed my phone number and said it would be added to their "Do Not Call" list. This is the second time someone "With an important message from Life Alert" has said they would add me to their Do Not Call list.

This is a Credit Card Services scam operation. Here is the information: Futuretech Financial, Inc. Principal: Mr. Ralph J. Brunton (President) Customer Contact: Mr. Dave Pippin (CEO) Ms. Barbara Niles Consumer's Financial Institute, Inc - 121 S Orange Ave STE 1500, Orlando, FL Another number of theirs is: (877) 504-3577 The best way to get back at them is to report them to the Federal Trade Commission: https://www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov/ The more people complain the faster these criminals will be held accountable. Other numbers used by these criminals: 410-443-7853 212-347-4455 601-734-5595 563-649-5485 980-554-2354 423-396-8787 855-884-8402. The number listed in their BBB file is (407) 233-3553 but it is constantly busy. There is a couple of very educational complaints in the their BBB file http://www.bbb.org/central-florida/business-r ... aints#breakdown.
I called them @(877) 504-3577, and they confirmed that they were behind the scam - PLEASE make sure you call them every time there is a phone in vicinity so that they tasted their own medicine.

Added this to the dozens I already have in my call blocker list on my mobile phone. Amazing these people can stay in business. I feel sorry for the poor people who fall for it. I used to take the tine time to harass the "agents" but it's not worth the time.

I get phone calls from these idiots two to three times a week. It's a answering machine about an important message....we know the drill.  I got to the point I would answer just to waste their time like the do mine. I gave them a false name and false credit card number. Once they realized I was what I was doing they hung up. I file a complaint every time they call to the FCC. I don't think they can do anything about it!

Rachel wanted to tell me about lowering my credit card rates. Her recording didnt give me the option to opt out so I pressed 1 to speak with someone to have me removed. The guy answered, I asked to be removed and his response was"shut up you idiot!" Taken back I paused then he said it again. I said excuse me? He said it again. Then I told him i was reporting him and the response was "ok so shut up idiot". I just hung up. Cant believe they can harass you like that.

    TONY,
Why doesnt the FTC  get off their lazy butts and call these numbers themselves[ they have a way] and threaten them with a law suit, than follow through with it.. OR have the phone companies make their number a GOOD number, so we can call them back and tell them to go  screw THEMSELVES,, wHICH I TELL THEM all THE TIME WHEN THEY CALL. I tell them that after they go thru their little speech.

First, they will continue to call, either showing the same number or more than likely, showing a different number being called from.  Not answering will not stop them.  However, it may be your best choice.  If you want some satisfaction you can 'press 1' and have a very loud whistle waiting for a 'person' to answer. If you want to really mess with them, play along with them by giving them fake info, NEVER GIVE THEM ANY VALID PERSONAL INFORMATION.  Make up what you want.  Remember, the first few number  on many credit cards are identifiable back to the issuer, example - Discover cards start with 6011.  Make sure you give then the correct number of digits - Discover card numbers are 16 digits as are Visa and Master cards, American Express are 15 digits.  They will immediately run the number and tell you it is not valid.  Have then read it back to you and then change one digit.  Again they will tell you it is invalid.  Waste as much of their time as you can. Finally just laugh at them and

    Whats DaPoint
So what is the point of being on the DNC list and renewing on the DNC list when they don't do anything about it? I know technology with computers calling and phony CID information. You'd think the phone companies or govt would do something to make all calls identifiable as it should be.
