They didn't leave a message when they called earlier. They called again after I was home from work and asked for "Stephanie" as if they were friends.  I told her she had the wrong number and she said sorry but you could hear the other people and phones ringing in the background.

This number just called my house and woke me up......it is 20 minutes past midnight.  Caller ID says Private Caller.  Who are these idiots?

just got a call from this number .. let it go to voice mail and didn't leave a message.

I've been getting a couple calls from this number 501-781-2208 and on caller id it would say "Private name".  When this number called again, it was listed as "Public Safety".

These people are lowlife spam, masquerading as a legit charity, which they are not.

ALL you have to do is ask them for their website and what percentage of the money collected goes toward helping whoever they say they are helping.

I guarantee they will hang up and they will remove you from their lists.  They only want to talk to gullible people.  Asking them those questions shows you've done your homework, and they don't want to talk to you!  :)

Evidently this is another telemarketing group that uses various area codes. Usually, it's identified as "Private Caller" but also masquerades as "Public Safety." Their calls supposedly originate from Washington DC, Washington state, Oregon, Charlotte NC, etc. They do not leave a message on the answering machine. Also, they are calling at very inappropriate times! I simply do not answer if I do not know the number calling. If it's someone I do know or someone who actually does need my attention, the caller will leave a message! No message? That confirms that it's someone to whom I do not wish to speak.

I got the call at 9:30 am today.  

Caller ID is PUBLIC SAFETY.    
It is despicable they use this ID which is the Highway Patrol where I live.  
Just a ploy to make you think it is an urgent call.

I did not answer, they left no message.
 
It is probably some bogus charity or identity theft scam we occasionally hear about on the local news.

This co. is scamming people into believing they are donating to organizations BS! call their phone carrier to complain and have them shut down they use level 3 communications and are a private land line not even a business line!!!

Called 3/20/2012 at 4:54pm - caller ID showed "Public Safety" - and she said something about breast cancer ....I interrupted and called her out on the "Public Safety" - stating to her that "Public Safety" intimates 9-1-1 emergency and that by using that they are fraudulent and trying to trick the public and I hung up

They called again at 9:45 a.m.  They've been calling every day, both in the morning and in the afternoon.  We don't answer if we don't recognize the number, and of course they never leave a message.

Calls and leaves a message for some guy named Scott, then they hang up. What the F**k is up with these people ?

This caller calls all the time.......never leaves a msg.....they are a pain in the a**!!!

keep calling from private name. I am on a no call list. Who are these people?

This jerk called me at 9pm, right when I was getting ready for bed.  He asked for the guy that owned the number before us, George Cole.  I said "Are you seriously calling us at 9 at night, this is ridiculous!"  He was an [***] and said "as serious as a heart attack".  He can go have a heart attack for all I care.  He hung up.  Stop calling and waking my family!

Call every day at various times. Sometimes comes across caller ID as Public Safety, other times Private Caller.  They won't take my name off their Do Not Call list.  They never leave a message and I have to say "Hello" at least twice before they speak.

Just got a call from this number.  Would not answer me when I said "Hello", said "private name".  I googled location and it says "state park, arkansas".

This number just called and said they were with the FOP. I just yesterday talked to the real FOP yesterday.

so tired of getting calls from this number! 501-781-2208. They called me 6/7 @ 340pm and again today 6/10 at 140pm. I answered this time and said take me off your list and quit calling my house- I will report you! The ID said: Public Safety, (the comma is there b/c that's all that was on my display... I wonder what is after it?) Not sure if anyone answered but when I was done the line had gone dead. SMH! heading over to DO NOT CALL registry--we have been listed for 1+ years at this phone #

i received call from this number but not sure who is he? and why he call me?

please let me know now,its urgent i just need to know the country from where i received this call.....is this call made from internet?
