This number keeps calling me and hangs up. I live in Canada. When I call the number back the recording says it is out of service, yet they can call me. All I know is that it is a landline number. - yelp| 1 replyI just got the same number that keeps calling me too!
- janeThey hang up, when it's called back it's not a working number
- BarryCall. No message
- Dave W replies to Lori JacksonIt is a scam message: A pre-recorded woman's voice, saying that you qualify for a lower interest rate "on your credit card", and to push 1 now to talk to someone about lowering your interest rate "on your credit card". Also mentions "stimulus package", which I assume is USA political .
- DeeThis number keeps calling me and hangs up. I live in Canada.
- RoseThey call me as well. Just a dead line. no prerecording or they don't hang up. So hang up and do not answer if they call back.

Spoke to a man who offered to lower my credit card interest rates. I said "who are you what company do you represent...you pre-recorded message doesn't state who you are?" He tells me he's from some company that monitors credit card companies and am I interested in lowering my rate. I said, you guys got a website? He gives me, "www.soft.com" As I am typing in the web address, he hangs up. I'm gonna call them back now and say that the call was recorded and I'm reporting them to the police...and while I'm doing that, I'm gonna do a full malware scan on my computer...I'm suer that website downloads something that can steal your info :-( (stupid me) - Derek replies to Derek...and when I dial back the number, it's not in service. SCAM!!!
- SuspiciousMama| 1 replyMy husband just had a call from this number. The man said he was calling to offer us lower interest rates on our credit cards. He said we wouldn't have to do anything the bank would do it for us, but of course they wanted some personal information. My husband didn't give him any information & asked him what company he works for/where he is calling from and he said he was calling from Visa/MasterCard Head Office. He asked him several times & he insisted he was in credit card services at Visa/MasterCard head office.
Definitely a scam, DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY INFORMATION! - nope replies to SuspiciousMamathey called with the same credit card scheme, it said press 2 to be removed from future calls. i pressed 2 then it said it was an invalid entry. i then pressed 1 to talk to someone. as soon as i said i hit option 2 but it said it was invalid they hung up. it was some indian. how the hell is this legal?

- V"Heather" the automated voice informs you of lowering interest rates - press 1 for live rep or 2 to be removed from list. I pressed one - right away I'm asked what kind of card I'm trying to eliminate and I start "yeah. I don't have--" then I'm hung up on. When I called back it was of course out of service. Scammers. Rude.
Next time I'll just scream into the receiver.
