Received a call regarding back support problems. Another off shore phishing scam. You could hear in the background a lot of people talking. Bad English and the usual wanting information on SS numbers etc. Avoid them at all costs!!!

I received a message from a call center.  This is the second call I have received.  On both occassions they were selling back braces to people with back probems.  This would be done under Medicare for no charge to me, and they would set me up with a doctor that will take my measurements for correct fit.  We never got to giving any information.

Individual called my father asking about a back brace for me, covered by medicare (which I do not use). This person is trying to steal identity by asking for information, they somehow knew my name but called my father's phone number which I recently put down as policy holder/emergency contact at chiropractor but back brace was never mentioned during visit and I did not ask for one. This person needs to be investigated and/or arrested for attempted identity theft.

This number was on my caller ID when I returned.  Caller ID says Kentucky...I don't know anyone in KY.  No message left.  Seem to be getting quite a few of these lately.

Call from 502.437.3750--Kentucky. He asked for me by my full name/mispronounced. Poor English as nonnative speaker and a ton of voices in the background. He said he could help me get the back brace on the commercial--he said you do have back pain, yes? I told him I do not have TV, do not know what commercial. He said you are a senior citizen on medicare, yes? I told him no. He said he could not help me, that he must have the wrong information.

I just got the same call regarding the back support device.  When I asked if I had lower back issues, I lied and said no.  I had surgery in December.  What I wonder is WHO sold my information:  United Health Care?  My neurosurgeon? (I highly doubt it) or the physical therapy office.

These people are terrible.  It's a way to scam Medicare.  What happened to being on the prohibited call list?  Something needs to be done about them.  I usually get more than one call per week.

Suspicious call inquiring about something to do with my medical status. I told them I never give info over the phone and DO NOT CALL ME AGAIN. I see on this site that they are pests and should be stopped.
