Same as Betty for me.  No message.  Hangs up before the beep.

Twice this number has called.  They didn't leave a message the first time and the second time I answered and they wouldn't say anything.

have had 5 hang ups from this number & no msg lft on voice mail.  Starting irritate me

This number has called me 8 times today (Nov 6, 2012).  When I am on the phone it keeps beeping through.  I finally answered and told them to take me off the list.  It has to do with a roofing company.

I keep getting calls from this number, never leave a message on answering machine, nor say anything, when I answer.

Just got a call from this no. a few mins. ago. 01-06-2013.  Didn't leave a message, I never answer these types of nos. anyway. If its important they'll leave a message. They didn't so it wasn't important. Since its Sunday wish I had answered and started reading Bible passages or singing this is Amazing Grace. . That will stop them.

Twice I've called this number and left a message to remove my name.  Twice I've actually talked to a woman who gave me attitude when I told her I wanted to be removed.

I've received 13 calls from this num,ber (502-473-6109) since mid-December.  Thanks to all the posts from those unfortunate enough to talk to a "human" (using the term loosely) about what this scam is about.

Rather than get upset at these annoying calls, fight back on your own turf!  Get a smart modem for your computer (Voice/Fax/Modem) and telemarketer blocking software.  There are free versions online and I've tried a couple.  I like the PhoneTray program as you can block entire area codes while letting specific numbers get through if needed.  There are numerous messages to choose from to play for these saps, including the SIT tune followed by a warning that they are in violation of Federal Law.

This number has been more persistant than most, but they will NEVER GET THROUGH and their robo-caller will eventually give up (marking it as an inactive number) or their campaign will end.  Since running this program I rarely get calls from telemarketers, debt collectors, contracting companies that "will be working in my area today and are offering specials", political canvasses, surveys, etc.

If you get a call from an unrecognized number that is not on your black list, just click on the BLOCK icon on your computer and it's taken care of!

You may still find free versions of PhoneTray out there, but they have a sweet deal with their paid version that includes a smart modem guaranteed to work with their program.  Other modems can be bought through sources like NewEgg.  Most (if not all) come from China.

Please report ALL TELEMARKETERS to the DNC & the FTC!  The process of investigation and legal action is painstakenly slow (and possibly ineffective) but it is our only legal recourse for now.  It must be working somewhat otherwise 800notes would list 100 times the complaints!

Received a call from this number today....they stated that they were with the Deputy Sheriff's Association and that they were collecting donations for their annual fundraiser. I told him to send me the information in the mail to which he replied that they have to get a donation before they can send me anything about it??? I've never known of any law enforcement association that calls and asks for donations.

Three rings and hang up.  Never went to answering machine.  Many numbers now only ring three times and hang up.  New pattern programed into the computer I guess.

Received yet another call today.  Called back and left message to NOT CALL back!

Filed a complaint with DO NOT CALL registry.  The more complaints they receive, they may investigate.

Numerous hang up calls from this number.  Never leave a message.

One more and I call the AG's office for the state of Kentucky.  They are really cracking down on this nonsense, more to protect our seniors than for the annoyance factor.

One of the many unknown numbers calling me lately. I don't pick up. They don't leave a message. I am on the Do Not Call list. I wish they would please quit calling me!
